I'm just a down-home girl at heart. Ummm. . . don't confuse that with "I like to cook and clean and sew." hahaha. I don't much like to cook and I only sew when I have to (yes, I know how). Clean? oh, I just keep it that way so I don't have to do too much at once. So you will have to keep your socks picked up!!I love my friends and my family. They give me strength when life gets difficult. I talk to them every day and hang out with my friends as much as I can. BUT I don't live with my mother and if you do that is pretty much a deal breaker.I'm very affectionate when I meet someone I feel a connection with. Holding hands, kissing, cuddling is very important to me, but also being emotionally available. I love holding hands and walking after having dinner, then going home to put on a movie and do some snuggling. I like a night on the town, but I also enjoy staying in and spending quality time with that special someone. I love a cup of coffee in the morning just sitting on the balcony and maybe stealing a kiss.I have the best job in the world! I'm an elementary school teacher (special education currently). I'm a bit old-fashioned so don't be surprised when I look at you oddly if you don't try to open my door for me. I'm looking for a gentleman who is interested in more than having a pretty smile on his arm. On a first date I would like to go to a local hang-out and perhaps see a live band . . . maybe at the riverwalk, or something like that. There are a lot of free outdoor concerts around town for the summertime. You don't have to spend a lot of money on me; just be available to have some fun and hang out.     I am a great cook! You might want to be prepared to gain a few pounds... ;) I'm a little bit of a clean freak, but not so much that I can't "let it go"...
