About Me

HI thereI am new at this, but looking. I love the outdoors and nature, I would love to find some one to share that - hikes, camping, canoeing, kayaking, visits to the mountains, the lake or to SC's beautiful lowcountry and coastal area. I love to cook, especially to grill out and to pair great food with a nice wine. I read alot in my spare time, anything from peer-reviewed journals to sci-fi. I really enjoy being outside, whether it is just sitting outside reading by my little fireplace on my deck, gardening, or hiking through the forest.My job allows me to experience alot of natural, pristine wilderness, and I feel very lucky to enjoy what I do so very much. I love my job and it means alot to me, but I am not consumed by it. I am fortunate to have found what I am good at, and what inspires me, but I know there is more to life than work - at least there should be! I do not smoke nor do drugs. If you smoke, even just occasionally, please look elsewhere as I will not date a smoker. Not even someone who smokes occasionally - (please do not put non-smoker in your profile and then wait to surprsie me with that once we meet - not cool).I do drink socially. Physically, I guess "curvy" would describe me best, I am not skinny, but not really overweight either. I work out at the gym almost daily, and I am fit and healthy. I am most comfortable in jeans or khakis and a nice top, but I can certainly dress up, too. I have a happy outlook, I am stable and secure. I have been divorced (on relatively good terms) for about 5 years. I did not include a photo, I guess I am still feeling unsure about online date sites, but I will happily *** photo or give you my info and you can either find me on ***, or myspace, or you can google-image me and find some work-related photos that are already out there in cyberspace. I can be somewhat shy at first (not super shy) getting to know someone, so if you are a good icebreaker type of person, we will do great :) I am known for my smile and "it's all good" attitude..-so up times tolerable :) I love my job, tend to be a hardworker with a strong sense of responsibility but have no problem winding down either, you cant take life TOO seriously!
