..just sayin) who loves to work out. Enjoy boxing class and can actually go pretty good on the speed bag now take classes in a historic boxing gym in cabbagetown, which I love because it is authentic and friendly with none of the fakeness of expensive downtown gyms. I enjoy running outdoors year round and I'm always open to new fitness adventures...need to get my butt training again for another race, its time!!. This winter started spinning classes which i love and also try get in a weight workout at the gym a couple of times a week. I enjoy meeting new people--whether on a run or at the local. I have a positive outlook on life--as we all know, life's too short so I prefer to get out there and enjoy it. As well as the active, I enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine. A good movie. I enjoy going out for nice dinners or even just a munchie at the local pub. I also enjoy wandering art galleries and art itself. I'm a tim hortons over a starbucks but enjoy an occasional latte and basically just looking forward to meeting some new people. Best case relationship and worst case some new friendships(and being a glass half full kind of person that's not bad at all) Love what I do for a living (work as a professional nanny) and love kids and everything that comes along with them. I get so much out of being with the kids and Ive raised many kids over the years and still in touch with most of them. Life is good but would be so much better if I could share it with someone. So....where is this person??I am a low maintenance, honest, outgoing, outspoken, independent, affectionate, loyal, romantic, passionate person. Israel and DC are two of my favorite places. Ok, I admit it - I had a blast at Graceland. I'm a news/political junkie - love campaign season. I'm relatively liberal on most social issues. I do need my daily entertainment news fix. I walk on the treadmill 5- I enjoy movies,tv, music, reading, sunflowers, chocolate, politics, history, museums, sightseeing, plays/shows, restaurants, outdoor concerts, festivals, hiking, biking, etc etc. I guess I'm kind of a geek.....I don't ski, raft, fish, camp, hunt, etc etc. I'm not an outdoorsy kinda gal. I'm not into NASCAR or sports. I have been on a motorcycle but have no desire to get on one again anytime soon.READ THIS VERY VERY VERY VERY CAREFULLY: I am a single mom without a support system. I'm not like other single moms - I DON'T HAVE EVERY OTHER WEEKEND TO MYSELF. I am trying to juggle being a single mom, work and a social life but for the right person who has some patience, flexibility and understanding, I can and do make it all work.- I'm looking for: Emotional stability. Professional stability. Financial stability. Physical chemistry. Someone who is really ready and available to have a long term relationship - you have to do more than sweet talk to make it last. Educated - MUST HAVE, at a minimum, a COLLEGE DEGREE. While it sounds like I'm a snob, daughter's dad doesn't have a college degree. As I have gotten older, I realize the importance of my partner having a higher education. I need: Someone who can make me smile and laugh. Someone who knows how to be romantic and passionate. Someone who can be supportive during the good and bad. Someone who is relatively physically fit. Someone to enjoy life with. Someone to be a support system. Someone who will have my back. Someone I can completely trust and who will completely trust me, even when I do something stupid or make a mistake. Someone who knows how to say "I'm sorry" and mean it. Someone who can challenge me on every level. Someone to grow old with. Marriage isn't a priority though I'm not completely against remarrying. Someone who has a backbone, is independent and can take charge when necessary. Someone who can treat me like a lady but not just to get me into his bed. Having great sex is really important but I want more than that. I want to be having great sex with my best friend. I'm the executive assistant to the president of a local company. I'm overqualified for my job but I really enjoy it and I think that is really important. Before that, I was a paralegal for many years. Way before that, I stuck my toes into the political/legislative world in DC. If you want to know more......ask me out on a date!!! I promise to talk your ear off!!.
