To describe myself I am laid back, loving, enjoy having and searching out a good time with the person I am with, open-minded and accepting. I think physical attraction IS very important but I also want to be able to have good conversation and poke fun at life with that person; laughter is Important. Also, I do not like or have time for negative individuals; I'm a happy girl and like to surround myself with similar people. My music taste is very broad;; not crazy about country though. I am an avid reader, there is always a book nearby; I like reading about people and their lives, horror and suspense. I enjoy traveling whether it is a weekend trip or something far away and new, always like to see/try new places/things. If you have a question, just ask. My son is 20 so I am pretty much a free bird with regards to that sort of thing. I have a somewhat crazy schedule; I teach, and have started back to finish up the last few classes I need for my bachelors; that being said 1. its unfair of me to expect you to bend over backwards for me and I won't; 2. if you want someone who you can be with ***I am not your girl; people need to do some things apart from each other. My main expectation is to hopefully meet a great person that I will want to be around again; after that well, we will see. **Note** Sometimes I have a tendency to hide my profile, work has me busy at times with little down time and I also get tired of pushy, needy people.     At this time in my life it's my goal to find someone who I can spend the rest of my life with. That doesn't mean I want to rush into a relationship but that is my purpose for being on this site. I've been told to put a coat on before, yes at the age of 42! lol Fall is my favorite time of year. I love to sit outside around a fire at night just to relax and unwind from the work day. I enjoy going to festivals this time of year although they are about over with now. (October ***Enjoyed myself at the Sauerkraut Festival but it would have been nice to have someone holding my hand as I browsed the arts and crafts booths. Halloween is approaching and I think I like it just as much as Christmas time. I do like to dress up for it but most of all I love haunted places and spooky stuff and just the whole atmosphere of it all. I really would like to go camping in the Fall but have yet to experience it. It's a bit scary to go alone with just the kids! I am going to take a break next summer though so we have a chance to do more things we have missed out on like going to the lake and swimming for one. I really miss that!I have my own place, job, and car. Not looking for a man to take care of me but please at least have those things. I'm not one to stay home every weekend. Not that I have to be on the go all the time but I do like to have fun and not sit around the house all day every day. Life is to be shared, enjoyed and cherished. I'm easy to get along with, love to laugh, very affectionate but a bit shy at first. Will warm up quickly in the right company. The first date to end all first dates.
