Love the ocean, cooking (whole foods), wine/good spirits, painting/art, theatre, design, documentary films, using/working with my hands, traveling, cycling year round, cross country skiing, hiking, and driving motorcycles. I am very active but not athletic. I am creative, extremely curious, intellectual, very, very left wing, and feed on learning. I myself am a first-generation European, who is very drawn to all different kinds of cultures and languages. I bore quickly of "the conventional," especially in people. I listen to all sorts of music: from (post)punk to New Wave to ska to jazz to house to soul to classical. Did I already mention Southern rock, disco and Schlager? And I like a lot of laughter around me. My life so far has been quite eventful and full of change, so I have a strong personality – a trait that I am drawn to in others. I am a high energy doer and somewhat adventurous and hope to meet humorous, dynamic people who can keep up with me – and then chill out with me. I am extremely open minded, empathetic, compassionate, and I am always trying to be more mindful and in the present. I am most often attracted to "alternative," masculine-of- Like a "true" Pisces, I can be a person of extremes. I am sometimes a person of contradictions: I am highly analytical and like to engage in conversations about subjects like critical theory and epic theatre, yet I can completely lose myself in hand sanding a piece of mid-century modern furniture for hours and hours; and, unlike a "typical" Pisces, I am quite practical and realistic, though I have my moments of sheer decadence and flight. Some might just call this balance. My friends would likely describe me as a thoughtful, kind, sincere, disciplined, highly organized, worldly, old soul that likes order. Truth is, I am an open book about who I am and what I feel and am more down-to-earth than this self-summary may sound to some.
