First I am a mom, of 4 beautiful kids. Only one is home full time. My eldest and only daughter has started a family of her own and is in college. My eldest son is a Senior Airman, and my teen age son attends a military school out of state. At home is the baby at only 9. They have and always will be my first priority, so dating can be tough. I prefer to date someone whom has kids, and who is hands on with their kids. There is a lot of understanding that comes with knowing what being an active single parent entails because I am my children's only living parent.I am a happy person, the glass is always half full. I am not at all religious but quite spiritual.I volunteer at CAMH, co-facilitating a skills/support group for parents of teens with severe emotion dysregulation.In the next five years I hope to buy a place in the country and gradually get to a point where I spend half my time there.I recycle and compost but every once in a while, when the fridge gets really bad, I will just dump it all in the garbage...I read a lot of non-fiction. I really enjoy books about spirituality and also sex, I read a lot of books about sex. Both theory and practical... in terms of fiction I mostly read dramas...I also enjoy a trashy magazine (people, us) from time to time.I love going to small intimate performances (cabaret, plays, music, comedy shows)I like all kinds of food and I'm a pretty great cook. I don't eat out very often and I try to focus on eating mostly fresh and healthy food.I don't like eggplant!I think that meeting in person is the best way to really get a sense of each other so let's do that right away :) Just a casual face to face to see if we want to get to know each other a bit more.
