I feel really lucky to have had a loving supportive life with my family, and have been able to build a career that I truly enjoy. I crave the outdoors, and spend as much time outside doing something active as I possibly can. I ride a bike a lot (cross country and downhill mtn biking, and road), x-country/downhill skiing and snowshoeing in winter, and a lot of walking my dog. I'm a big animal lover, dogs in particular, and I have a lovely 6 yr old pup that goes with me everywhere. I enjoy time with good friends, cooking or watching films or just really good conversation. I tend to be more on the shy side, to be honest, but certainly appreciate a good sense of humour and don't mind being surrounded by the gregarious types. I love music, play percussion as an amateur (ie. in my own home or jamming with friends), and I have music on in every environment I'm in if I have a choice. I read when I can, and like to cook, and enjoy new adventures. I spend a lot of time at my place in Collingwood, fixing up my house (which I love doing) and playing on the Escarpment.I want to be around people who are authentic, and know who they are. I am attracted to a man who is confident in himself, looks after his body, is independent and , like me, wants rather than needs someone to share time with. Well, I'm going to try this again.......At first, I'm pretty shy, but when I open up and let you in my little realm, I'm pretty talkative. Lately I have found myself to be a little bit more daring or spontaneous in some *** I like the changes I'm making. I described myself as "BBW" above, but I have lost a lot of weight since September and now wear clothes that don't start with a "2". I'm still working on it and have the full support of my family and friends and want that from the next one/s that I meet.Since I moved up here, I found that I like to do many different things that I have never been able to try before. Anywhere but a movie, not a good place to go to learn about the other. I also don't like places (for the first time) that we have to yell to hear the other. A nice outside café , weather dependent, that we can enjoy the warm sun. I'm a very light drinker, but if you drink, that's fine as long as you aren't stupid drunk.
