I was raised by free-thinking, hippie, artists who gave me the gift of self exploration and expression and a sense that anything is possible. I am hard working, self motivated and driven as well as being really good at relaxing and doing nothing :)I am open-minded, open-hearted, and ever evolving.I'm doing my best to live in the moment and experience and enjoy every interaction and situation as it comes without expectation or attachment to outcome.I'm not necessarily searching for my next partner right now. I do want to eventually be in another long term, exclusive relationship and I would like to let that evolve naturally. Right now I am having a blast dating and getting to know some wonderful people. After ending a 20 year marriage it's great to be experiencing myself in relation to men in various forms of friendship and intimacy.I tend to be drawn to people who are bold, open, intelligent, strong, funny and joyful with a little bit of edge or grit...I believe that everyone who comes into our lives is there to teach us something and I am very much looking forward to all that I will learn.I don't drink at all because it doesn't agree with my stomach. I will say though, that I am relaxed and silly enough without it...Being with people who are drinking moderately doesn't bother me one bit. In my opinion the glass is neither half full nor half empty. It's FULL with half air and half liquid. Ha! What I’m doing with my life:Being an awesome mom to three daughters (16, 18 and 20). Holy shit! I have a 20 year old...Running my own business that allows me lots of time to explore other things.I'm the chair of the stewardship and fundraising committee at a kooky, left wing church. I am not at all religious but quite spiritual.I volunteer at CAMH, co-facilitating a skills/support group for parents of teens with severe emotion dysregulation. In the next five years I hope to buy a place in the country and gradually get to a point where I spend half my time there.I recycle and compost but every once in a while, when the fridge gets really bad, I will just dump it all in the garbage...I read a lot of non-fiction. I really enjoy books about spirituality and also sex, I read a lot of books about sex. Both theory and practical... in terms of fiction I mostly read dramas...I also enjoy a trashy magazine (people, us) from time to time.I love going to small intimate performances (cabaret, plays, music, comedy shows)I like all kinds of food and I'm a pretty great cook. I don't eat out very often and I try to focus on eating mostly fresh and healthy food.I don't like eggplant!I think that meeting in person is the best way to really get a sense of each other so let's do that right away :) Just a casual face to face to see if we want to get to know each other a bit more. Coffee or tea, a walk in the park...

Let me make this clear and simple. I am NOT interested in the following:1) Dating anyone outside of my race2) A guy who just wants sex without taking the time to get to know me and treat me with respectI would like a nice, decent guy who is funny, considerate, and willing to accept me for who I am. That includes faults and all. I intend to provide the same in return. Overall, I think I'm a pretty simple, straightforward, woman who likes to have fun and enjoy life when I get a chance. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new things. I can usually be content and find something interesting no matter where I go. My outlook is laid back and down to earth. Eventually, I would like an opportunity to fall in love and live happily ever after. Until then, I'll just be content with whatever hand life deals my way. If I've added you as a favorite, that means I have read your profile and am interested. Feel free to write back if the feeling is mutual. Thanks and good luck. My idea of a first date would be a casual meeting maybe for a simple lunch or snack. I would like to have a good conversation that sparks an interest in getting to know the other person better.
