Woman. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 38-48
The fun and freedom of summer have departed and now it's time to settle in for the gorgeous fall and hopefully snowy winter. I'm looking for someone to snuggle up to during the long nights ahead and someone who doesn't mind exploring outside in the rain. I just started grad school, work at an amazing place with people I respect and admire, and I do a few other things here and there. Yes my schedule is busy but if you're the right guy I will make plenty of time for you. Although I love making new friends, I am not on here for pen pals, text buddies, or casual dating. I love my phone but I'm not looking for a relationship with it. I'd like a relationship with a real person who isn't afraid to meet up and explore the possibilities together.I'm looking for someone who is happy with his life. A man who knows how to be a man including how to treat a woman. I've lived on my own and know how to do most things around the house, but there are some things that men do better...there, I said it. I'll own it. I want a man who will share his life with me but also has his guy things as I'll have my girl things. I'm not looking for someone to go with me to get pedicures...I have friends for that. I'm looking for someone to come home to, to laugh with, grow old with, wake up next to, feel secure with, who will have my back and I'll have his. I'm also old enough now to know that doesn't happen over night. I love the beginning of a relationship when all is right with the world, but I cherish the time really getting to know someone and fall in love...that deep, warm feeling that doesn't burn but grows and grows. If this resonates with you, contact me. Let's see where it goes! Something simple, drinks, coffee, a walk?

Being a sports fan might be an understatement... I love Sports! Playing and a fan... It doesn't define me. Of course, (like most) I am lucky to have great family and friends. I'm delighted getting back in shape after knee surgeries. I've played volleyball and participated in athletic events my whole life. I've enjoyed getting back in pool swimming and gradually running a little more (does turtle mph speed count as running?).-climate ofNorth Coast Ranges here in Bay Area. I haven't met a trail head or regional park I haven't fell in love with!Baseball tops my list, and enjoy going to SF Giants games (among others...). One of the items on my bucket list is visiting every MLB Park sooner than later... well, that and a few other sporting events (err... In the same breathe, I easily have ability transitioning in to an evening dress and night out at the Theatre, Symphony, dining, music or any Art appreciation. When I have the resources, I enjoy travel. Exploring and experiencing new places, trying new activities is quite stimulating. Road trips are high on my list. I've been known to fill the tank and take off.; both are simply breathtaking with many hiking and boogie board opportunities. I am full-figured, tall, love heels, healthy, happy, and spectacular sense of humor... I'm an active person. I may not have the hard body I once dawned at 25, but I can kick majority of 20-something asses at most sports! Being skinny doesn't always translate in to being in shape, or reflection of 'health'. Of all my dainty female friends, I've had one make it through one of my workouts. I may be a wee competitive. Nothing sexier than pure laughter and wit... Sometimes a cliche truly says it all: A smile can cure anything!Don't let the curves fool you... Put me in, I am ready to play! Sky Diving! Okay.... How about breaking the ice with a friendly game of "Truth" or "Dare" over coffee or beverage of choice... Maybe get something to nosh on through the rounds of quirky jabs and observations... Required accessories: Smile... Hearty Laugh... Open Mind.

Just like everyone else, I hate doing these things. I mean, how do you summarize yourself? I always get caught between wanting to make a bulleted list (my organized side) and rambling on forever about this and that until you're lost in the prose and at the end you'll say, "...but you didn't finish the story!" (My creative side). If you read all the advice out there and you're a man, you'd go for the prose because women love reading that stuff. But if you're a woman, my ad is already too long. Go figure. Hah!What the heck. I've gone on this long...I am shy and introverted; yet charismatic and can be the life of the party. I don't tell a good joke, but most people find me amusing. I don't smile all the time, which I guess translates into being somewhat intimidating and unapproachable (but now that I've told you that, you will not find me so); but if you approach me I usually have a smile for you. I am often told that I am the 'bright spot' in many people's day and am often sought out for quick conversation when they are feeling down. More than one man has said I am a good driver. :-)I am a geek. I grew up reading comics and, while I don't collect anymore, I still pick up one or two issues once in a while. I have several TV shows and book series that I am gaga over. And yes, I gush about them like a teenager. Sue me...but if you're not into them I probably wouldn't bore you with the details. I hate to tell folks this, but *everybody* is a geek about *something*.Running has taken over my life recently. Mostly it's because I'm training for my first Half in November; I *do* make time for a social life. Time out with friends, my nephew's football games (followed by family time), hiking and so on and I'm also training at work so I can move into a different field; but running is my current passion and obsession of choice.Hmmm. I wrote more than intended, but I hope I left you wanting to find out more about my story...Please note that you are unlikely to get a return response from me if all you say is, "Hi." Or throw down only one or two sentences. Ask me a question. Tell me something about you. Anything for God's sake! Just not..."Hey."
