I didn't expect to get to my 40's and not be married! Still, somehow it happened. Sure, I'd love to meet "the one" here but I'm open to the possibilities, and I think women should take more chances. I've had women say "no" to first dates because I have a dog, or I didn't ***, or on a bigger scale, they didn't think we would be a good match in the long run. Short term dating can be fun, too.
