About Me

To begin with, I'm a bit old fashioned so I won't make the first move but I will most likely respond to it...Im a 42 yr old mother of three ( oldest two back East in school and only one left at home) and a full-time nursing student as well so don't let the blond fool you, I know my own mind.I even like the touristy stuff like the market place and the space needle. I was raised by my father who taught me to shoot and fish (yes, honestly) and I have lived in 10 different states so I really like to travel...but make no mistake that I'm still a girly girl ........all of that has given me a great appriciation of how much I value my friends and family in those good times too. I like to read for a hobbie and listen to whatever is on the radio but my passion in life is my career and my future. I don't need to be rescued I am a strong woman with strong values of family and friendship and trust and now I want with someone like minded and fun. First dates are often uncomfortable and awkward, so I would probably just suggest a drink at a pub or someplace that was comfortable for us both....perhaps a walk around a farmers market.

    I'm not sure how to start these types of narratives...I am a single mom of 2 with one still at home. I work full time, but try and find opportunities to have fun. I have spent the last year or so trying to figure out things that make me happy and I'm pretty close to figuring it out. I like all sorts of things, camping, movies, volunteering, miniature golf, day-trips, etc. I try to complete the crossword puzzles from the newspaper everyday (maybe a little nerdy, but it's me). Also, someone who is witty and funny, I love to laugh. I am usually attracted to women younger than me, but that isn't something set in stone. The confidence someone shows is a big plus for me. Although I'm sorta girlie, I like to wear jeans and hats every now and then. I tend to notice more masculine girls, but I am attracted to some more feminine ones as well. It's hard to explain 'my type', but I know it when I see it :) If I end up with a new friend, cool... a relationship? Even better, but I'm not going to shy away from new friends.
