Did I get your attention? I hope so! While I do own two flat-screen televisions, I don't want to spend every night at home. I'd like to meet someone who enjoys exploring the world we live in and finding new things to spark inspiration in your life. Me? Writer, aspiring filmmaker (I've done a lot of production, but want to be the own who controls the film, i.e., director/producer) and social media gal. I'm known as a great friend with a sense of humor. I must have laughter in my life--it gets a little too serious if you can't laugh off the bad things. My most important title is mother to my two-year-old daughter. You? I sure hope you're not just a nice guy, but a good guy. If you don't know the difference, ask me. Nice guys are great, but good guys see a bigger picture that includes their own personal happiness. I don't mind if you've been married before or have kids. I just don't wish to entangle myself with someone who doesn't look after their obligations. A man who takes care of his responsibilities is HOT and also, a good guy!) and anything that might make me laugh. I laugh at random things and mean things like seeing people fall. I know, CRUEL! But in the right context (and if no one gets truly hurt--Wipeout is one of my favorite shows!), it can be funny!I haven't dated in almost three years. It's been a difficult choice, but I put my child first and now I'd like to open my life to a really good guy. You are hopefully cool with kids (I only have one, but you would have to like her eventually) and cats (I have one; we said goodbye to the other one earlier this year which hurt beyond hurt). Also, you don't want to rush me off to bed. I am not in a rush to sleep with anyone and will not answer to any e-mail that is a blatant request for sex. I'm also not going to apologize for that statement. I've kept a clean health record thus far in life and won't tarnish it for something that means nothing to me. First dates should be simple affairs. I think noisy is out, quiet and laid back is where it's at. I prefer a brief first meeting to see if there is an interest. I think it's perfectly okay to meet mid-week for coffee or drink and if the feeling's right, plan for a weekend follow-up date. Still, life isn't perfect. I tend to play life by ear.

    How hard can this be? For me, it comes down to simple basics--the things we learned when we were young: be honest, be reliable, trustworthy, a good listener, cherish and love your family and friends, remember we are all different, but different is not "bad," never judge anyone--we all have opinions and in this country we have the liberty of "freedom of speech," however, sometimes it's best to keep our thoughts to ourselves. Never hurt with intent, never spread rumors--if that's how you play, get out of the sandbox. Always be a lady. Always be respectful of those younger and older. Common interests can be helpful; however, learning new things is always exciting and sometimes more rewarding when you share the experience with someone.Top of the list: laughter is a must!
