I will tell you now that what you see here is what you get. Really. I'm young at heart but a responsible adult. I am employed full-time by the same company the past 22 years. I have started writing a couple books. I have arts & craft hobbies. I have a lot of interests that keep me occupied, and I'm not clingy. I DO love connection & intimacy and spending time with my man, but I also like a bit of "me" time--which means HE gets a bit of "me" time, where we have time to miss each other & appreciate our time together all the more. I have possessions I adore, but I'm not really materialistic. Giving me my a single flower, for example, would mean more to me than a huge bouquet. I adore physical affection--both giving and receiving. I truly appreciate togetherness, touching & kisses. If you appreciate an assertive woman who isn't afraid to "tell it like it is," then we might get along well. I also appreciate the same in a man. I don't want a yes-man except maybe in the bedroom, sometimes. ;) I'm fairly confident, though I do still appreciate compliments & reassurance from time to time. I'm very compassionate and empathetic. I'm a giver, a lover, a nurturing spirit. It's in my nature to look on the bright side.I have a great sense of humor & I'm a *** with a bit of a cursing habit. I am often laughing at something and making people laugh with me. People tell me I'm really easy to talk to. I'm mostly laid back and open-minded and like to surround myself with open-minded people.I love music, especially rock & "alternative" rock, and I love going to see live bands. I also love standup comedy. I have a few tattoos & will be getting more. I am spiritual & believe there is something beyond our physical bodies, but I don't follow a traditional religion.Jeans & T-shirts are my favorite attire. I joke that "dressing up" for me is wearing a shirt with no words on it.Now... Who might you be...?-holed "type"! I'm pretty open-minded. He has a good sense of humor & is willing to talk about deeper subjects, not just joke and be a *** all the time (it's cool to watch Tosh.0, but ya don't need to try to BE Tosh.0!). He's handy around the house or at least willing to occasionally reach things on higher shelves & kill (or relocate, if you must) spiders upon request. ;)He's employed and self-sufficient but wants to share his life with a similarly situated woman. He's supportive of my goals & dreams because they're important to me. He encourages me without pushing. He tells me when something is bothering him rather than bottling it up until he ruptures. And when we're at "that point" in the relationship, he tells me he loves me more than 2 or 3 times a year. He touches me often, besides for sex. (But plenty of sex is a given of course!)I plan to enjoy the hell out of the rest of my life, filling it with music, beauty, laughter, creativity, shhhitloads of FUN & eventually a fantastic friendship that provides a deeply fulfilling love & true partnership for life. I'm excited to find out who that will eventually be... Something casual, easy to hang out & chat over drinks and/or food.

    Am I trying to find a needle in a hay stack..? does anyone else feel that way, you know it when you see them the first time. your heart races and your blinking to clear your eyes you think your dreaming..LOL The next day they are all you are thinking about..     Ok, I'm gonna put out there, that just like everyone else I HATE this part of filling out a profile. Anyone worth knowing usually has very little to say about themselves and is more interested in getting to know the other person. However if I leave this part blank, won't it be difficult for you to make an educated decision about whether we mght be a good fit for one another?I can put the usual junk: I love to laugh, I'm into all kinds of music, ranging from country to hiphop to classical and jazz. I can put more personal stuff out there: My day cannot start without a good cup of coffee, I REALLY hate textspeak and typos, I feel it shows a lack of effort. By the way, if there are typos in this profile, I want to know (my keyboard is misbehaving terribly!) I am a cat person, but love most pets.
