I'm not a typical 40 year old. I am a widowed mother of two young children. I chose to have children later in life. I have a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. I'm looking for someone who has children or is completely comfortable dating someone with children.I have a passion for singing and listening to music.I was raised in a small farming community so at heart I'm a country girl. I like stock car races, tractor pulls, carnivals, muddin', camping, monster trucks and rodeos. Yet, I like to dress up and go out on the town too.One of my favorite past times is to hang out with my friends and neighbors on the patio. Adding a fire to it would make it even better. My favorite sounds include my children laughing, waves crashing against the shore, wind whistling through the trees, birds chirping, a crackling fire and anything nature. There is no greater feeling than laughing so hard you have tears rolling down your cheeks.Compassion ministry is my main focus. I live my life now based on cliches. They've been created because they've been lived. Don't wait til tomorrow, what you can do today...simply because we don't know if we have tomorrow. I ask myself every morning, "How can I be a blessing to someone else today?"Dating is a new world for me. It seems there is a lot of unnecessary pressure to put on a front or pretend to be someone your not. I have been stored away for the last several years and almost forgot who I was. I want to be me (God fearing, fun loving, romantic, nurturing, compassionate, happy) and I want to meet someone who will let me be me while enjoying who I am. With all the hype of pretending to be someone we're not, I would prefer to go some place where we are both very comfortable. Even if it requires bringing reinforcements. :) I want to get to know the real you, not the "first date" you. I am pretty much open to anything, but with summer upon us, a walk along the water or just hanging out would be just fine. However, if you prefer to meet for coffee, ice cream or even some bowling, I'd be up for that.

For giggles I searched through other women's profiles. Whew, some high expectations out there, not that a girl shouldn't have her standards. But damn, fixing someone else's lonely life is a tall order (same applies for men).. Wow, did have a disclaimer on here but apparently most the girls got that covered..I know a little intimidating but hey you gotta laugh once in a while...Some things I've learned from this site:Self employed = Unemployed (most the time)They no longer teach you how to capitalize when you get your Bachelors. All men love the outdoors and water.A profile that says "no drama" means you have a crazy ex.Everyone states their children are the "center of my universe" but complain about how much child support they pay/receive.95% of the women on here have face shots as their main photo, most the men have an "action" photo or are outdoors. If a woman on here has a double chin she's fat but if a man has one he has an "average or athletic build". There is something really ghetto about a man/woman over the age of 35 that still says "hit me up".Most of us view people whose viewed us just to see who passed us byIf you're looking for a "kind hearted" (which most if you are) woman/man, you probably have MAJOR insecurities. Now don't you wish they had a like button on here or am I to harsh? :I know that just sounded really jaded and angry but was ment to find the humor in some sad truths about dating online..Well, trying this again. I'm outgoing, witty, driven and can be a huge pain if the occasion calls for it. What type of "relationship" am I looking for? Gee, what's wrong with just dating to start? My ideal guy would be educated, (and no a slip of paper isn't everything), clever and a man who is secure in himself.. I have my stuff together so should you! You MUST have a car, a job and your own place! Anything else is unacceptable, I won't be someone's ride, banker or landlord..Oh BTW, riding a motorcylce is what I do, not all that I am.. Happy Fishing Guys!PS. Please no hate mail if I say I'm not interested. Really? At least I messaged you back unlike most girls.. Geez!. I can get dressed up or just wear jeans and boots, I'm comfortable anywhere I go..
