I realized just how much I am an Island girl, & that the simple things in life make me happy, such as amazing sunsets, fruit trees everywhere, & just staring at the beautiful turquoise ocean !!! So here I am!! A little about me?? I love rocking out a great pair of heels. I love feeling sexy, in everything I do. I am confident, down to earth, unpretentious, independent, softly strong willed. I also love kayaking, hiking, being out in nature as much as possible. I work out & do yoga. I am interested in joining a rock climbing gym here as well. I have been married, & I have had many long term amazing relationships, but this time around I want to grow in love, not fall in love. I want to take my time in getting to know him. To know if just because he sends shivers down my spine, is he good for me?? Does he know how to really live as a happy person. Does he have true class?? How does he really deal with conflict in his life ??? With me, with others, with the world around him. How does he act after being in a long relationship?? I can be really sarcastic and silly, so you must be able to joke and have fun without getting offended or embarrassed. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is responsible, with a strong work ethic, but who can still be fun and spontaneous. I like a guy who's rough around the edges but cleans up when needed. I was not blessed with kids of my own, but I find little ones to be a perfect cure for a bad day, and they seem to find me equally entertaining. (Teenagers, well--they're a bit more of a challenge.) The more time I spend with my nephews and friends' kids, the more I realize what I'm missing. So don't be shy, dads--we'll get along just fine. :-)I've been quite independent for a lot of years now. As it turns out, it can get pretty lonely. I work evenings, but have long weekends, and would love to have someone to share them with. I recently bought a camp and look forward to fixing it up and spending lots of time there. There's even stuff to do in the winter. But I've got a motorhome, so we definitely have options! I've been accused of being a workaholic. This year I took serious steps toward changing that by taking more time for myself. Now I'd like some company...
