That has to count for something!)I love spicy food and I like to try different cuisines. 95% of the time I eat healthy. 5% of the time you are allowed a little leeway. There is no such thing as too much cayenne, too many jalapeno peppers, or too many red pepper flakes! You want to do curry, make it HOT curry! A few things about me:- There is something that is real and true about karma. I believe in trying your best to do the right thing. I believe in saying sorry when one does something wrong/bad/hurtful and I think one should mean it when one says "I'm sorry". - I love my Spartans, if you can't tolerate a MSU football game, don't bother contacting me. My blood bleeds green, pretty much all fall!!! - My job is very important to me, but I know how to leave the office at the office and I do not bring the drama of the office home with me. Would love to travel to more of Europe and Australia, too! The only other language I can speak/understand fairly well is French, also I can speak the basics in Spanish/Mexican (okay, I can ask where the bathroom is and order a beer). I live a healthy life style, I get my exercise, I relax, sometimes (but not often) I do absolutely nothing. Life is good. If the days were longer than 24 hours, life would be better! I'm not a typical 40 year old. I am a widowed mother of two young children. I chose to have children later in life. I have a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. I'm looking for someone who has children or is completely comfortable dating someone with children.I have a passion for singing and listening to music.I was raised in a small farming community so at heart I'm a country girl. I like stock car races, tractor pulls, carnivals, muddin', camping, monster trucks and rodeos. It seems there is a lot of unnecessary pressure to put on a front or pretend to be someone your not. I have been stored away for the last several years and almost forgot who I was. I want to be me (God fearing, fun loving, romantic, nurturing, compassionate, happy) and I want to meet someone who will let me be me while enjoying who I am. With all the hype of pretending to be someone we're not, I would prefer to go some place where we are both very comfortable. Even if it requires bringing reinforcements. :) I want to get to know the real you, not the "first date" you. I am pretty much open to anything, but with summer upon us, a walk along the water or just hanging out would be just fine. However, if you prefer to meet for coffee, ice cream or even some bowling, I'd be up for that.

I am a single mom of 2 wonderful kids, and I work a full time day job and a part time weekend job (for the fun of it... the extra money and discount are a plus!!) I enjoy anything outdoors... walking, hiking are two of my favs! I have a cat and a dog and of course, my kids want more animals (but lets face it, who takes care of the animals??? ME! lol***thing that you should know about me is, that I am passionate about activities that focus on cancer awareness and the fight for cancer..... As, I am a cancer survivor. I had a rare form of cancer in ***. I fought it, and fought hard. I had chemo, radiation, and surgery for removal. It was a long road, but now, I know that it happened for a reason (like most things in life do).... The people I came in contact with through it, have made me a better person. Another thing is, that my family is important to me. I will not comprise my time with them. Life is too damn short, and can be taken away at any moment. Lastly, I am giving, confident woman. I love to cook and bake. Hope you enjoy to eat! LOL
