I'm not very good at talking about myself but here goes.....I love the outdoors whether it be at the beach, strolling through town, swimming at the pool, strolling through the flea market, a ride on a bike, just whatever sounds good at the time. I have my daughter's senior year to to get through, phew!!, and then she's off to find her own way. I hope I've been successful in preparing her for it...... I'm a pretty low maintenance kinda girl and appreciate spending time with that special someone, hanging out with friends, and teaching my daughter how to drive!! LOL That's a tough one... :) I enjoy all genres of music but don't watch a lot of tv. I do enjoy a good movie though, now and then. I am an faithful, honest and sincere person and am looking for those same qualities in a partner. I love to laugh and have a somewhat sarcastic personality. All in good fun though. :) I'm a modern woman with some old fashioned ideas about relationships. I am independent and work hard but want to believe that chivalry is not dead. It's not totally, is it???? I'm not sure. I see a lot of the teens and young adults nowadays and they make me shake my head. Just want to yell.... PULL UP YOUR DAMN PANTS!!!!!!! It seems there is a lot of unnecessary pressure to put on a front or pretend to be someone your not. I have been stored away for the last several years and almost forgot who I was. I want to be me (God fearing, fun loving, romantic, nurturing, compassionate, happy) and I want to meet someone who will let me be me while enjoying who I am. With all the hype of pretending to be someone we're not, I would prefer to go some place where we are both very comfortable. Even if it requires bringing reinforcements. :) I want to get to know the real you, not the "first date" you. I am pretty much open to anything, but with summer upon us, a walk along the water or just hanging out would be just fine. However, if you prefer to meet for coffee, ice cream or even some bowling, I'd be up for that.
