Hello there! Okay, here's a little bit about myself...I am a Guidance Counselor in a public K-8 school. I love my job and wouldn't want to do anything else. To make this easier, I asked some friends to describe me and here are the results: fun-loving, sweet, adventurous, motivated, family oriented, considerate of other's feelings, and energetic. I am quick-to-smile and somewhat inquisitive! I enjoy all sorts of activities and will pretty much try anything once - I’ve gone sky diving, cliff diving and accomplished the knee-hang catch on a flying trapeze! I enjoy fine dining, traveling to tropical islands, rollerblading, roller coasters, hiking, some snow skiing, pistol shooting, obstacle/adventure running/races (i.e.: Tough Mudder 2x), and CrossFit for exercise! I am the type that loves getting dressed up and going to a nice restaurant one night and maybe camping out by a fire the next; I can suit the occasion and enjoy doing so. I spent a great deal of time in college and working hard. I own my own home and am financially independent. Ive had several (very) long term relationships (8 years, 7 years, and 6 years each) and although none of them developed into a life-long future, I feel that I am a better person because of them.I have fulfilled all of my academic and career goals and hope to meet a man who has done the same...hence, who is ready for a committed relationship. I am looking for someone who I can share myself with - someone who will be my love, as well as my best friend. I am finally ready to meet the man who I am meant to be with. Although I am not looking for a relationship that is only "convenient", I have tried the long-distance thing once or twice and have found it difficult. I do also understand that everyone is on their best behavior during the get-to-know-you stage...which is why I do not tend to jump into things. I will try to be as up-front as possible in this.Having said that, I prefer to meet sooner than later. As much as I appreciate good writing technique, as illustrated in *** &/or text messages, I would much rather meet early on to determine if there is a spark between us - which is absolutely necessary!! ;)

Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
I work for an international technology-based non-profit company and it's very rewarding! I travel a lot for work, both within the US and internationally. I'd love to meet someone who might be up for meeting me at the tail end of international meetings for a little exploring! I also like thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales, hanging out watching movies, and cooking exotic meals. I like people who are smart, funny, goal-oriented, artistic, and compassionate.-conformists. People involved in any form of subculture or counterculture are the people I relate to best. I admire people who are always looking for ways to broaden their minds and are open to new ideas and are interested in learning new things. I would like to meet someone who has a goal that they are working toward and who has a plan for where they're going.I'm very lucky to have more than a few very close friends and a great family, and I love spending time with them. I always try to make time to learn new things and expand my mind. Experiencing new and interesting things is very important to me. I feel that I don't have much in common with people who are static in life and who don't see the opportunities and growth that come with change. I don't like people who are bigoted or mean spirited. Drama and jealousy are major turn-offs. I guess the first date could be drinks (I don't drink coffee...). Second date? Anything out of the norm!

I would like to find a Christian man who appreciates what I have to offer and will work just as hard as I will to make a relationship work. Walking with God and going to church is a definite requirement. If you're not walking with God, then how can you expect a woman to submit to you. If you're not walking, then I'm not talking.Ephesians 5:***NIV***Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[a] 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.I like to learn. I enjoy activities that expand my mind and increase my intelligence. I have a lot to offer in a relationship (no crazy exes, no kids/no baby daddy drama). I like to laugh, be around animals, travel, and experience new things, places, and adventures. I'm very outgoing and like to have fun. But first, let's be friends, hang out, and get to know each other.BTW, guys. Edit your profile!!!! Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and ALL CAPS say a lot about you. It tells how much education you've had and/or paid attention in class to communicate your interest in finding love to us. If you want to attract a quality girl, put your quality out there. So, please put it on a program to spell check and proofread your message before you put your message out there. It really does speak volumes about you and your level of intelligence. If you talk about what you DON'T want in a girl, it tells us volumes about your past and we read in to that a lot. And yes, we do read it. And, please, no more selfies or naked bathroom pics in the bathroom. Really. If you can't find a friend to take a pic of you, well then, you really do need a life. Just had to say that. lol. Blessings in your search for love. I would like to go some place where we can talk and get to know each other.
