About Me

I work for an international technology-based non-profit company and it's very rewarding! I travel a lot for work, both within the US and internationally. I'd love to meet someone who might be up for meeting me at the tail end of international meetings for a little exploring! I also like thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales, hanging out watching movies, and cooking exotic meals. I like people who are smart, funny, goal-oriented, artistic, and compassionate.-conformists. People involved in any form of subculture or counterculture are the people I relate to best. I admire people who are always looking for ways to broaden their minds and are open to new ideas and are interested in learning new things. I would like to meet someone who has a goal that they are working toward and who has a plan for where they're going.I'm very lucky to have more than a few very close friends and a great family, and I love spending time with them. I always try to make time to learn new things and expand my mind. Experiencing new and interesting things is very important to me. I feel that I don't have much in common with people who are static in life and who don't see the opportunities and growth that come with change. I don't like people who are bigoted or mean spirited. Drama and jealousy are major turn-offs. I guess the first date could be drinks (I don't drink coffee...). Second date? Anything out of the norm!

    I'm an artist, exceptional manager, Aunt Extraordinaire, and I have both a wicked sense of humor and a deep, compassionate soul. I love my job, love the people I work with, and love being able to laugh and make others laugh while excelling in my profession. I love to paint, but my inspiration comes in waves and if the tide is high, you may not see me for awhile. I work really hard and have a busy schedule, but I have a deeply fulfilling professional and personal life. If I make time for a date, it had better be a good one ;)I love the outdoors - hiking, kayaking, trail running, camping, etc. and regularly attend Chargers home games and also enjoy day games at Petco Park. I'm a fantastic cook, have family and friends who work in the food/wine/beer industry, and while I eat extremely healthy 80% of the time, I greatly enjoy decadence for the other 20%. Honesty and integrity are key foundations for me, so if you struggle with either, please don't bother. I rarely turn on the tv, but love quiet evenings with Netflix, a good meal, and a glass of wine. I meditate, practice yoga, and pamper myself on the regular. Something where we can have fun and laugh :)
