I really enjoy learning about other cultures, religions, places.I have a hard time with closed-minded people.I am out-going, friendly, passionate, honest, loyal, adventurous, happy, mostly optimistic (although I do occasionally get irritated while driving -.. AAAAGHH!!), sarcastic, and smart. I have been married and divorced and don't feel the need to get married again, although I am not opposed to it. I don't have kids and I think I'm a little old to start that now, and am completely ok with that.I do have two cats and a rescue parrot who makes me laugh like nothing else!In the past ten years I have had a lucrative career in yacht financing, spent 3 years as a zookeeper at Lion Country Safari, and worked for a while as a stewardess on a 90ft yacht in the Bahamas. I'm not a vegetarian, but pretty close.I have owned a sailboat.I like to swim in the ocean.Sometimes my 'filter' doesn't work.I can be shy.I love camping - in a tent! I miss the mountains.I miss waves in the ocean.My brother is just about my favorite person in the world.Sometimes I curse to emphasize a point.I like to cook, but don't do it too often, it's no fun to cook for one.I've seen the Dalai Lama in person.I've seen the Grateful Dead in concert 3x (but I don't really remember!I love Indian food!I don't go to clubs.I have a terrible singing voice and will dance when I'm drunk.I don't drink often, but when I do, I drink tequila.My parents have been married for 46 years.I can use power tools.must make a note on my faith... Buddhist is probably closest to what I believe and attempt to practice, but I try to integrate the good of all religions into my life. Update: I have found that if i respond to *** a polite...I do not think we are a good match, good luck in your searches...some take it offensive so therefore I have found that sometimes it is just easier not to reply. With that being said...I still believe true love yes, the kind that rumors come from....lol. I want to grow old with my love and live happily ever after.I am a more of a laid back person. I am a handywoman who can and likes to fix and do things around my house. I like to dress up and do out too (have to keep the dust off my heals) I like classic rock some country but no hip hop. I like to go new places and take mini vacations. I love the beach (day or night) though I don't tan but the way I look at it is, if everyone was tan no one would notice. I am a laid back person who really isn't athletic but like to try new things and see what life brings. Going out once in a while for drinks and fun but, being a bar fly or a daily drinker isn't for me. I try not to judge a book by its cover (ex: photos) and understand as we age well, some of the pages may be a bit rough around the edges.
