About Me

I have been on and off this site for a while and have met a handful of people. I have come to expect nothing other than some interesting people watching. Everyone is looking for the perfect person and I hope that is what you find eventually.Anyway, I'm a pretty simple girl. I am a mom. I work full time. I support myself. I don't have a lot in life but when I did, I wasn't any happier so I'm okay with where I am. I have been humbled and know what it's like to do without. I know what it's like to travel. I'm a fan of tailgating and sports games. Yes I actually like and understand sports. Well maybe not golf but I'm willing to learn about the game!!I am looking to date. Not more than one man at a time but date and see where things go. Expectations have jaded my impression of a perfect relationship so I just take one day at a time. I think most know when there is a connection and when there isn't. We are all just afraid to tell the other person how we feel. I'm not specifically looking to get married again but never say never. I would like to find a man that wants a long term relationship and just see where that takes us. No pressure or expectations. I love my kids and am not interested in producing any more of my own. I'm happy to date someone that has children or not. It's rough towering over someone. Lol.     After having a few meetville dates, let me say this: just be honest! You don't have to lie about what you want. If you have certain expectations about how things need to be, just be open about that. Communicate & be yourself. I would much rather you be open & honest about who you are & what you want then tell me whatever you think I want to hear...because guess what? You don't know me yet! Now's probably a good time to let you know that I'm a strong, independent woman. While I would ultimately like to find someone to share my life with, I am fully capable of taking care of myself. I think life can be easier with the right partner. The wrong one just makes it more difficult. I'm feisty & I like to be challenged. I tend to know what I want, and I've been told that can be a little intimidating. See...I can be nice!I like all kinds of music, but country is my favorite. My stations at works are either country, Maroon 5, or sometimes a little contemporary christian...just depends on my mood...or if I'm feeling particularly feisty & want to piss off a coworker. Come on...when you work in a room full of cubicles, you have to find ways to entertain yourself. I have a Nerf gun, and I'm not afraid to use it. I have 2 daughters, ages 23 & 12. I shouldn't have to say they come first, that's a given. I prefer meeting in a public place the first time. We can meet for coffee, or a walk around the canal, or even a concert in the park...something casual and fun, where we can talk & get to know each other a bit.
