In a nutshell.... I'm divorced, have a 15yr old son (joint custody), and I work ***hrs a day Mon-Fri. But to put it simply, I think a first date should consist of 2 people getting to know each other...see if there are any common interests, if there's any "chemistry" there...if so, move forward & see what happens. Hey there, Thanks for stopping by. I'm 42 years old. Bi-racial, adopted at a few days old by my family who is white. I grew up in a predominantly white town. Soooooo with that being said, my preference is white men. Sorry if that offends anyone but its what works for me. I have also indicated I am caucasian with is half true. Have done this because I am approached by black men and do not want to waste my time, nor theirs. I'm conservative but can have liberal tendencies. I grew up in a traditional household. My parents are still married. I dress and carry myself most of the time conservatively but I have tattoos. I am a film junkie; not movies...films.... you know the ones that make you think... .especially foreign films. I like the odd blockbuster too though. I'm a homebody at heart but I love going to see live music - bluegrass, americana, jazz or a comedy show. Boating in the summer is my favourite thing to do. Or just floating on the lake on my lounge chair. I love being outside after being cooped up all day at work. I'm a proud Canadian and hope to get my citizenship soon. So I have a different perspective on things. I enjoy good two way conversation and love learning and hearing different perspectives.
