I am first and foremost a Mom to, two very active and amazing young ladies. Life can turn busy sometimes, so we consciously make sure we balance life out with some down time too.I have many interests but I would have to say music and travel are at the very top of my list. I love all types of music, and doubt that you will ever catch me in a moment when it is not playing in the back ground. Live shows in small venues can make me connect with a whole new genre I never even knew I was interested in. I love stumbling onto new sounds. I am a bit of a travel junkie. I have made it a personal goal to work hard and save, so that I am able to travel twice a year (once with kids and once without) So far I am making it happen! I am generally a happy person, I put friends and family at the top of my priority list, but I am also keeping a space open to allow room for relationship priorities. I am a firm believer that once a decision is made to commit to someone you should be prepared to jump in with both feet. No “one-footers” please :)The online scene is not my ideal way to meet people (I prefer the real world) but I have had positive results from this site. I won’t rule out the possibility that it could work again. I am not looking forward to weeding through the “not-so-good stuff” to get to the one person that makes it all worth it in the end, but HEY who ever said dating was easy? I have met some very nice people along the way, and on the flip side of that I have also met some very …uhhh… “interesting” people too. I only ask for an honest online presentation, if you are who you say you are, then at the very least we will have an enjoyable time and can see where it goes from there. I have zero tolerance for false fronts, and I hope that you do too. I am often asked about what I am looking for? I try not to limit myself to a certain type. I never know what feature or characteristic of a person may strike me as attractive...but believe me, when it hits me, I know. Humour and height (I am 5'9" and a half without shoes) will always grab my attention, but a great smile and classy conversation will keep it. I don’t put too much emphasis on what you do for work, but I do think that it is important that you work at something. Trust and communication are what I feel make or break a relationship…please come prepared to work towards both. The only up front deal breaker I will not budge on is “addiction” IF ALCOHOL, DRUGS, GAMBLING, “SURFING ONLINE”,OR ANY OTHER UNHEALTHY HOBBIES ARE HOLDING YOU BACK IN LIFE…please correct those on your own…there is no need to share with others.Also, IF you are on here to hide behind a computer screen, and not be accountable for how you speak or treat a person ... honestly, please don't interupt my happiness. ***, may I suggest you use that waste of both of our time to visit the "Self Help" section...just sayin.Hopefully this gives you a bit of insight into who I am, and why I am here (for the right reasons). I will leave it there for now and assure you that there is a lot more to talk about. Drink and an appetizer works for me!

I am an eternal optimist.! I have quite a sharp sense of humour and I love to laugh. I appreciate quick wit and sarcasm. I enjoy movies, books and I will never back down from a good conversation or debate. I have a daughter who means the world to me and of course she always comes first in my world. I love my job. I am a font of random information and can speak intelligently for literally seconds on many subjects so I am a delightful companion in any situation, failing that, I am capable of smiling sweetly and nodding politely. Parents love me, children tolerate me, animals are drawn to me, house plants die in my presence..... I hope we get to meet soon.
