Basically, I would like someone in my life who wants to spend time together out having fun, has my back when I need him most, and is interested in learning what makes me . . . me. I have ***year-old daughter who is, by far, my greatest accomplishment; a very close relationship with my family; and wonderful and very loyal group of friends. There are worse things, right?As for likes and dislikes regarding music, movies, food, books, hobbies, travel, and whatever else you want to toss in . . . Well, I think you just learn those things about someone along the way and see if they work for both of you. I don't think two people have to like the exact same things. In fact, I think it's far more interesting if they don't, so you can learn new things. As long as you have those important core values in common, I think the rest will just fall into place . . . if you let it. :)Best of luck. I prefer as low key as possible for a first meeting. Just looking for that perfect fairy tale romance... I know it doesn't exist, but I know there is a hero out there somewhere willing to accept me for who I am. I am not perfect, and I wouldn't expect anybody else to be either. However, I do expect a relationship to be built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. Relationships take work, so if you are not willing to roll up your sleeves and put forth some effort, don't expect much in return. I am faithful, loyal, devoted, and fun. I do not play games or pretend to be something I'm not - I am who I am, and I just want somebody to accept me for me. A first date should be as stress free as possible. Something low key, just to get to know the other person. Going on a first date is stressful enough without adding additional demands like activities or distractions.
