Looking for: man. In age: 39-49
I consider myself intelligent, with a great sense of humor. I am looking to meet some new people and see what happens. I am open to friendship or a relationship. I am a huge sports fan, love football & basketball. I enjoy outgoing men who like to have fun. That special man should be tall (6'0 or taller) handsome, sexy, intelligent, honest, caring and active. If your not the whole package don't bother wasting your time.

Me - Thoughtful, a good friend, practical, romantic, jolly, musical, adventurous, a good cook, well-traveled, affectionate, flexible, family-oriented, spirited, passionate, and good-natured. I love to travel and enjoy other cultures, be outside, cook/eat good food, help others, giggle, and share stories. I regularly crack myself up, I'm a geek (I write technical documentation for satellites and robotics), and I have two kids I adopted as a single person. I am loyal, fairly drama free, straight up, and no nonsense. I'm a perty good shot and can light my own campfire. My closest friends are guys. If that bothers you or you have a jealous streak, loyal as I may be, I'm probably not your girl. What I value in others and would like in a partner - Thoughtful (of oneself and of others), fun loving, courageous, musical, honest, easy-going, open to new ideas, romantic, care about your friends and family, friendly, adventurous, financially responsible, understanding, do not value work above family and friendships, non-judgmental, like animals and kids, and enjoy travel... ;) I know a lot of folks say they like camping but I mean nearly every weekend in the summer, I go camping.I lead a pretty kid-centered life and because my children are little, it's difficult to get away. If really good, amazing kids aren't something enjoyable to you, you definitely should pass me by. Also, if you are crazy about your partner's friends, fitness, or...well...just crazy? Please pass.Lastly, if you got this far or skimmed to the end, please do not think I will find interest in dating you if you write me nasty *** had to hit the urban dictionary for DTF and all I could think was WTF), wear your hat sideways, flash gang signs, are in your 20s, are morbidly obese, or require a motorcycle partner (I have a brother in assisted living from a road bike wreck, I don't play road bikes). I prefer a laid back, outdoorsy man near my age, my apologies if this offends. Take your time, it's worth it. Let's chat. If you think I'm funny/enjoyable and I think the same of you, let's meet to see if there is chemistry. Something easy, something fun, something that we can enjoy together outside?

Woman. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 41-51
I've been divorced for nearly 2 years. Wounds have been licked and I'm ready to get into the dating scene again-I guess I am a glutton for punishment. Plenty of fish says I should talk about hobbies/goals/my uniqueness and taste in music...here goes:Hobbies: gardening, walking for fun and fitness, fishing, dancing, travel, camping, reading, card and board games. I am fairly competitive but can take a loss with minimal tears and tantrums.Goals: personal goals are finding a partner to share my life and interests with. I have 2 beautiful grown children who have been my primary focus, but now that they are grown I am excited to focus time and energy on myself. Currently I'm in the process of buying my first home as a single person and am looking forward to remodelling and decorating it. I think men who know how to use a hammer are SEXY! Though it's not a deal breaker to just hire an expert-recognizing and accepting strengths and weaknesses is attractive in and of itself :) Professional goals involve possibly returning to school to finish my master's degree within the next 5 years. What makes me unique...hmmm, with 6,000,000,000ish people on Earth, I don't know that anyone is really THAT unique. However, some qualities I have that make me who I am are an ability to be nearly always happy. I am genetically geared towards a positive outlook, and it's not something I have to work on. I have a permanent smile and a slightly twisted sense of humor. I consider myself to be above average in intelligence (doesn't everyone?), and enjoy conversations with funny, intelligent people. I know, I TOLD you it's difficult to be truly unique! Although my family is very conservative and somewhat religious, I am not. Through painful trial and error I have learned that I need a partner who not only "tolerates," but shares my liberal views.Music tastes: I gravitate towards Indie and alternative rock. Although I can usually find songs within every genre to enjoy, I really don't care for gangster rap and country music. The first is too hateful and the second is too whiney and depressing for my tastes. Guilty TV pleasure: toss up between Americas Next Top Model and So You Think You Can Dance (you would think I'm 15yrs old). Uh, I'm not...pedophiles need not apply. An ideal first date would be somewhere intimate with a good****ail where we could discuss our interests and hopefully find common ground. Best case scenario would be lots of laughing, though not to the milk coming out your nose extent, because that is almost never sexy. I think the mark of a good first date is losing track of the time. If you find yourself checking your watch every few minutes it's probably time to cut your losses and agree to "just be friends"...both knowing we will never be friends. :)Another fun first date would be deep sea fishing... because if you are still attracted to someone who smells like bait you are on the right track. Or maybe a wine tasting tour. I am completely *** wines and would appreciate some guidance on the subject. Plus the smell of the aging barrels is much better than fish bait.
