About Me

I was recently asked what I was looking for, so here is my reply.I am looking for that person that I can't wait to see again, the yin to my yang, etc. I am in no hurry and am realistic on what that looks like for me. I don't trust easily, I am not promiscuous, I can't say that part too many times. I will not jump head first into a physical relationship. I am not looking for an *** term relationship, let's go out have some fun. Not every date is about finding that "special person", it can just be two people who enjoy spending time together. Personally I can never have too many friends. I have never been, nor will ever be unfaithful. I have a wicked sense of humor that comes out more when I start to relax around someone. I am not looking for anyone to take care of me, I can do that just fine on my own. Looking for the person who loves me for just being me...who can give me affection, enjoys stolen kisses, soft caresses and whispers of love, looking for that person who wants to know what makes me, me.To look across the room for you, only to discover that you are already looking at me.I am not a jealous person by nature, if you give me a reason to be, I will walk. No games tolerated here. You are with me or you aren't it is that simple.The person I married was safe and I knew he would never physically hurt me, but with that I also learned that he wouldn't (emotionally) protect me either. We are still friends.***********************As far as drinking goes it would be nice if they had an option for once every couple of months, my drinking days are long since over.I have a great sense of humor that runs the gamet from innocent to a bit naughty sometimes.I exercise regularly but will never have a rock hard body.I have friends and family that are gay, so must be accepting and supportive. Long term I am looking for my best friend, lover and partner in life, but for now I am very content being single, enjoying life and dating here and there until the right one comes along. I will not seriously date more than one person at a time. My animals (cats & dogs) are my fur-babies, we are a package deal. I have a stable full time job since 91.. Financially responsible, excellent work ethic.     I am a great listener,a great conversationalist, I don't do stress, I believe things will work out in the long run,so why stress ?.I'm more of an optimist -usually.I am the advice giver that everyone comes to for advice..but rarely listens to.One side of my family is very talented for-singing-playing music. I like to go out and sing once in a while.and though i'm not the greatest singer , I can carry a tune..I like country music and the 80's. A little of this and that. I have 2 sons whom are 21 and 26. they are the most important things in my life,yet they don't get in the middle of my life. People(men) always seem to be intrigued by my ability to carry on a conversation,(as though this is not human- for women)but yet I seem to do it.simply amazing I guess? I grew up in a small town ***and have been on my own-since I was about 14 yrs old. I think I did alright for -basically raising myself...I could probably do better as an adult, knowing what I want ,yet,I'm still trying and learning to weed out the things I don't want. Dating; I would say nice casual conversation maybe a few drinks and go from there?

    This is a first and so not me but here goes. Im fun, Im real, and Im easy going. I dont play games and will run fast if you do. I stand up for myself but apologize like crazy if Im wrong.
