I have come to realize that there are some things I cannot compromise on and others that I can. My family is very important to me, and I will always have them in my life in one way or another. I moved back home to help take care of some of them. I also love animals... there are 3 cats and 2 dogs in the house, and a flurry of animals outside it. (I don't live in the city and the animals do not all belong to me- lol). I am hoping for someone who has a good sense of humour at the least, and best case, likes fur and family. I have been called highly intelligent, cynical, funny, compassionate and strong. I can be bluntly honest, but I do not try to be unkind. In fact I find it interesting to see how people react to my honesty. It can be funny at times. I find it liberates others to do the same and some amazing conversations come of it. I am also a big science nerd ( I read physics books for fun), a free thinker that is not constrained easily by social norms and a die hard skeptic. I am living a very interesting life. My sense of humour borders on the dark variety, partially thanks to my choice of work and life experiences. I'm really not interested in having kids, but I don't mind if they come with the package. I like creating, imagining, growing green things with my hands and living my dreams. I also am in a period now of reexamining those dreams, and would certainly like to experience new things. Life lately has become too focused on work. What am I looking for? Someone who is my match both physically and intellectually. Someone who isn't afraid to think outside the box and has strong core values. Kindness and flexibility are important. It's hard to find one's match out there, but I think the search is ultimately worth it. Honesty, the ability to "roll with the punches" and laugh at oneself are also extremely important qualities to me. Please have a picture.
