    First, I'm a mom. It's important to me to do a good job raising them, but I also have time without kids that I'm looking to fill. I love to learn and read and do serious things, but I also enjoy letting loose and spending time with my friends. In fact, that's probably one of my favorite things to do :) I also enjoy watching movies and sports (football and baseball), and like to try new things.I enjoy hiking, camping, going to the beach, or just chilling out at home. I also love to sing and listen to music of all kinds. I want to laugh and have fun, but be able to have those serious moments, too. I think an ideal first date is one where we can get to know each other better. Maybe coffee or some other adult beverage, conversation, and see where things go. It can also be fun to do something that's relaxing - miniature golf or bowling, anything that isn't too serious, where I can laugh at myself :)
