I am a divorced mother of two. My daughter is 15, and my son is 20. I am independent, and my daughter lives at home w/ me. I went through a rough time and have gotten back on my feet pretty well. The last couple of years have been pretty good and everything just continues to get better. Finding a balance, allowing myself time to enjoy life along the way. I love music and listen to so many different types. I enjoy many different types of movies as well. I enjoy time w/ my family and friends. I'm not really into clubs or bars, I much prefer a nice chill patio somewhere w/ good company. I will however, hit the club up on rare occasion w/ friends. I enjoy outdoor activities, love the beach, lakes, boats, bikes, summer activities are the best. Not my over night forever, but someone w/ strong potential. Someone who draws me in by who and how they are, while trying to get to know me... not undress me. Physical attraction is the first thing that we notice. It's important, but attraction for me goes way beyond that. You can be sexy as hell but turn me off mentally. For me, he would be a man who is confident (not arrogant) and knows what he wants. He will be caring, honest, responsible, affectionate, respectful, have morals, know when to be serious yet still be playful. I haven't jumped out of airplanes or climbed mountains (yet), but I think my life is a wonderful adventure because I am lucky enough to be Mom to four terrific kids- ages 20, 16, 15, and 8. I was married for 20 years. The last time I was dating, it was all done by passing a note in homeroom. I teach fifth-grade special education math and love it! My students are wonderful and we have so much fun. I'm not sure if this is what I will do forever, but it is the perfect job for me at this point in my life.I love cooking (just not every day), hiking, movies (a DVD or a night out) and finding some quiet time to read. New Zealand, India and most of Europe top my list of places I want to go. I would love to make some new friends and maybe find someone who is easy-going and makes me laugh to join me on my adventures.
