About Me

I've been here in NC for almost 9 years now and really like it here...for now. I'm a nurse and work with sick/premature babies. A little about me? I'm honest almost to a fault. Kind of a "tell it like it is" person. I'm a self-sufficient, independent, strong willed, take care of herself type of person who tends to use "colorful" language at times(yes I drop the F bomb). I'm a think "outside the box" type of person. Romance and chivalry are two things I still even at this age believe in. Maybe some would say I'm naive, but I still believe that there is someone for everyone. I love to cook and bake, and I'm always looking for new recipies to try, and guinea pigs to feed. On Saturday afternoons in the fall, I can usually be found in front of a big screen, eating hot wings, drinking some cold beer, and watching some Big Ten football. GO BLUE! I'm a big travel/vacation nut; however, I haven't had a true vacation in a long time now. It's hard to do when you're single and nearly all your friends are married with kids. I'm a sucker for a motorcycle, and a man who has one. Probably because I was basically raised on the back of one. If you have a motorcycle AND tattoos?? Well...:)I'm looking for someone who is smart, funny, ambitious, kind, romantic, spontaneous. Someone who takes care of himself, likes to travel, and would enjoy some of the things I do. Someone who will make time and room for me in his life, and treat me with respect. As I will for him. Someone who I can be comfortable enough with and trust enough to let him know me and who I am, as well as showing me who he is and what makes him "tick". Someone who knows how to love and will accept love in return. Someone who is affectionate and not afraid of some PDA. I'm a big kisser, hand holder, and touchy feely type of woman with a man I'm totally into.

    If I had a million dollars, I would go on an extended vacation to a tropical place and drink frosty coconut flavored drinks. I know how to hang stuff, fix stuff with duct tape and check my oil, but feel like everything would be more complete with someone to share it all with. I have no idea what package you may come in, but if you have an honest, kind heart and are passionate about life...we might get along well.
