A fairly new resident of this beautiful town. I am wondering where all the young people are?! Moving here has opened so many fun and interesting doors for me. A typical week for me usually has a combination of a couple of mountain bike rides, checking out some local live musical treats and lots of cooking. I make a pretty big effort to recycle, support locally own businesses and generally show respect to the environment. Although I have a junker car, I choose to ride my junker bike to work (all 3kms!).But I am no preacher! I don't have a TV but I enjoy watching some shows on Netflix once in a while. Books seem to hit the spot a little more accurately of an evening.My family are a big source of joy for me. I travel back there about twice a year to collect up some hugs and make sure they are behaving (!)My work life is productive. I am in a position where I get to support people through challenging times, a constant reminder of how I should never take my health and happiness for granted.I am fairly in tune with what makes me happy/frustrated. I suppose I would be more of an introvert than an extrovert but I certainly know how to be assertive and communicate my feelings. I also don't baulk at being the first one on the dancefloor when there is live music in front of me ;)Looking to meet someone to share the fun and laughter that I have been blessed with.     I'm Katherine, an Animal Health Technologist, ( aka. Animal Nurse) Basically I get to spend time with animals all day. I used to work in emergency practice but my body hated me working nights. When I'm not working I'm training my horses. I love riding, its my escape. I usually ride english but love being out on the trails too... but my heart will always be jumping.I have been in 2 seriouse relationships in my life. I have been single for 5 years now. I have enjoyed my time for me and i think i'm ready for a relationship again. I am very shy. I have been hurt.... I am looking for someone who wants to make me happy as much as i want to make them happy. Someone who understands that i am still my own person and wont try to change me. I'm a busy girl, i need a man who can keep up. ;) I think the perfect date would be an Oilers Game for sure!! But lunch Or picnic and walk sounds great too.
