About Me

About me-I am a life loving person with a lot of different career ambitions. I am currently working on my master's in Urban and Regional Planning, which means I'm going to be a city planner if all goes according to plan. I have a feeling I will always be starting degrees because I love to learn. My undergrad is in biology which ironic because although I hate plants I spent four years studying them. I am currently a planning intern with one of the cities in the Okanagan. I'm really enjoying it and it feels good to know that I'm studying for a career I know I will enjoy. I have a cat whom I adore, maybe more than I like most people. I like to read, see good movies, go for walks, dine out, tell jokes and laugh. I also have a deep love for puzzles, especially number puzzles. I dislike hot drinks because I like to drink my drink not sip it, so if we ever go out on a coffee date I will probably order a frappacino. I am an avid traveler. I hope to see 50 countries before I die and I am almost halfway there. My next big trip is to India and Sri Lanka this December as a class project. As for my taste in music, I generally like like anything with a good beat (comes from my years in the awesome sport of jump rope) or a catchy tune. I generally don't like blues, country or opera but there are exceptions to every rule. Too highschool? Fine Italian pasta eaten by candlelight. Too intimate? Dinner and a movie. Too awkward? Coffee at the local coffee house. Too hipster? I am down for anything!
