It feels strange to go on and on like I am trying to sell myself to someone I have never met.I want someone who is the aggressor or the more dominant one in the relationship. Surprise me, nothing impresses a girl more than when you put a bit of planning into it. Just don't take me for sushi because I'm allergic to shellfish!

Well this isn't awkward at all! My friends keep telling me to try this site so here it goes. Im in my last semester of my bachelor degree. Im a single mom and son is #1 in my life. I work part time and volunteer and still find time to take my munchkin to swimming lessons. I don't get to spend as much time as I would like having fun but when I do I enjoy just about anything outside. I love hiking, fishing, quading, camping, hunting, snowshoeing, skidooing...this list could go on and on. I really just want someone fun and relaxed. My life has been so crazy the last couple years, I really just need some unchaotic fun. Im very honest, sometimes a little blunt. I really don't see the point of beating around the bush lol. I'm fiercely loyal, empathetic, smart, and a romantic, though my faith in romance is a little lacking of late. My family sucks, my friends are my real family. For those I love I would just about do anything. So I guess that's me in a nutshell... truck ride on some back road with a case of beer! Or perhaps a campfire...with beer of course!

Came from a place where there wasn't much to do, so I'm looking forward to being in a big city! Recently finished nursing school - am looking forward to expanding my career. This is also one of the reasons why I moved to Calgary as there is a lot more opportunity for work and growth in the health care field.Friends and family are very important to me, so I always try to make as much time as I can to see them. With this move I'll be leaving a lot of family and friends behind so I'm hoping to use this time to focus on my career. I love all types of music. All depending on my mood my playlist ranges anywhere from top hits to any of the local bands around town. I'm not picky with different genres. Some of my favorite things to do are hopping in a car with no place to go, catching up with friends on the phone or going for a coffee, and taking my dog for long walks. Having a quiet night in is always nice too! With some free time I'm hoping to get back in to competitive rowing - Competed for 8 years before an injury that kept me from continuing. Hitting up the gym and going for runs is something I keep up with to stay healthy :) Or even just going for a long walk! Watching sports on TV is great too - but I would definitely prefer to play them. I'm looking for an honest guy to get to know, not rush in to things, and take it from there.
