Back in the dating saddle again! Well I have to admit it has been awhile since I have done this, but I assume its like riding a bike. haha I am a born and raised Calgarian, which is rare I know! Although I have spent most of my life here I have also had the privilege of traveling the world... almost 3 years ago (seems so long ago!!!) and I loved it. I have a huge passion for Europe and have been to many countries throughout. Asia is next on the list and hopefully I'll make it there next year. I have been saving my pennies! I also love food and wine, I would like to say I am an amazing cook, but I am probably better at drinking wine. I would like to say that "l love the gym" but that just isn't true. I find it is a necessary evil so that I can eat ice cream and not feel guilty haha. I like to hike, bike, swim, ski, camp and always my favorite Sunday activity ... veg on the couch (variety is the spice of life ;.. not the jail side) and I tend to go a little overboard with the decorating at Halloween and Christmas... I love to explore my creative side and always have 50 projects on the go... but have a hard time finishing them with a busy schedule always keeping me on my toes. Most of my friends here are getting married and settling down. I on the other hand have not yet made the transition from hot tub parties and keggers to tupperware parties and board game nights. I guess at some point I will make the transition into that category, just not quite yet!!! haha ... I am looking for someone who I can talk about everything with, learn from, share new experiences with, and just have a good time. As I said before travel is a huge part of my life and It would be nice to have someone to go on adventures with. If you are up for the challenge, drop me a line.P.S. Not too sure what this whole "favourites" section is about. If your going to add me as a favourite you should probably talk to me at some point no? First dates are different with everyone. I've been living and working downtown for about 7 years now and absolutely love it! I really enjoy my job and feel lucky to have found something that I like to do every day. I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with friends... normally we hit up a pub for a few beers on the weekend or relax at the beach. I take up any opportunity I can to go away (not because I don't enjoy the city but because I love vacations). Whether it be a weekend on the island or in the okanagan or somewhere else - I find it next to impossible to say no to a trip. The last couple of years I've been lucky enough to go on ***month backpacking trips in Europe & Australia. SE Asia is next on the list for this winter and I can't wait. I love to find different ways of being creative myself, whether it be making jewelry, decorating, gardening or sometimes even a bit of painting/collage.Other than that I like music, sports, the outdoors, concerts, cooking and the list goes on and on. My friends would describe me as caring, driven, independent, sarcastic, supportive and stubborn (but clearly I don't think I'm stubborn - ha!).
