I've been living and working downtown for about 7 years now and absolutely love it! I really enjoy my job and feel lucky to have found something that I like to do every day. I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with friends... normally we hit up a pub for a few beers on the weekend or relax at the beach. I take up any opportunity I can to go away (not because I don't enjoy the city but because I love vacations). Whether it be a weekend on the island or in the okanagan or somewhere else - I find it next to impossible to say no to a trip. The last couple of years I've been lucky enough to go on ***month backpacking trips in Europe & Australia. SE Asia is next on the list for this winter and I can't wait. Thanks for stopping by. After working in a pretty shitty job for a couple of years I have recently got a great new job in a very healthy environment. I've already started to get more active because a lot of my clients and co-workers are athletes. I'd love to get back into my high school sport of rowing but I think that for the winter I will get my exercise in the comfort of the gym then maybe hit the water in the spring.I enjoy my own company but would love to find somebody to share life's simple pleasures with. I love to cook and some of my favourite meals are seafood pasta; teriyaki pork tenderloin with caramelized onions and mashed garlic yams with spinach; I love entertaining with and for family and friends. I am very close with my family and have some great friends who I've known for ***years. Fun for me can be anything from camping down a logging road to hosting friends for an evening of sangria and appys to catching a local comedy show to shooting hoops at the park. I am NOT a girly girl and I love to get dirty but I'm also not shy about dressing up. I take care of myself but I am not fanatic about it. In reality though, I'm somewhere in the middle of those two extremes. Lastly, I'm not just "non-religious"; I am an atheist and a proud and outspoken one at that.
