I am really into traveling. A few years ago, I obtained my Paramedic license so I could travel and work with different medical groups. I spent some time working in Honduras, Guatemala and Roatan working for Paramedics for Children. Helping others is really important to me as well as experiencing new cultures around the world. I am very active. I spend a lot of my time playing basketball, All Sport or doing boot camp. I love the outdoors - growing up on a farm the outdoors became a huge part of my lifestyle and heading out for a weekend of camping or fishing; nothing beats that. I have back packed through a lot of Central America and spent a month last year in Europe. I am currently working towards going back to school and obtaining my degree as an RN (Registered Nurse). Came from a place where there wasn't much to do, so I'm looking forward to being in a big city! Recently finished nursing school - am looking forward to expanding my career. This is also one of the reasons why I moved to Calgary as there is a lot more opportunity for work and growth in the health care field.Friends and family are very important to me, so I always try to make as much time as I can to see them. With this move I'll be leaving a lot of family and friends behind so I'm hoping to use this time to focus on my career. I love all types of music. All depending on my mood my playlist ranges anywhere from top hits to any of the local bands around town. I'm not picky with different genres. Some of my favorite things to do are hopping in a car with no place to go, catching up with friends on the phone or going for a coffee, and taking my dog for long walks. Having a quiet night in is always nice too! With some free time I'm hoping to get back in to competitive rowing - Competed for 8 years before an injury that kept me from continuing. Hitting up the gym and going for runs is something I keep up with to stay healthy :) Or even just going for a long walk! Watching sports on TV is great too - but I would definitely prefer to play them. I'm looking for an honest guy to get to know, not rush in to things, and take it from there.
