I love to travel and hope to see all the continents before I die (Antarctica is probably a long shot, I know). After graduating from SFU I moved to Taiwan for a year and then backpacked around Southeast Asia for a few months.’ve been lucky enough to get away every couple of years to explore more of the world.I love to read all kinds of stuff, from graphic novels to classics to nonfiction. Music is really important to me, and I almost always have something playing in the background, no matter what I'm doing. I love discovering new music and I'll give bands from any genre a chance, even country and rap. If a song has a good beat and is fun to dance to, chances are I'll like it (unless it's Maroon 5 or Nickelback...terrible). I also enjoy lots of different movies, but lately I've gravitated towards sci-fi and fantasy types of films, as well as horror. I definitely have a nerdy side; my favourite show is Jeopardy and I kick ass at Jenga.-3 times a week. I wouldn't say I'm overly athletic, but I'm aiming to do Tough Mudder and the West Coast Trail next year... I'm not much into clubbing anymore, and would rather get together with my friends at a bar to catch the Canucks game or have a board game night. I love going to see movies and plays, checking out new restaurants, and trying different drinks/food. I'm also a huge animal lover; one of my favourite ways to unwind is to play with my dog and take her for walks.I'd like to meet someone who loves laughing and having fun and who has similar interests (obviously...wouldn't we all?). I can be a bit shy at first, so it would be good to meet someone who's outgoing and can pull me out of my shell. My lifestyle is pretty low-maintenance and drama-free, and I'd like to keep it that way. Well this isn't awkward at all! My friends keep telling me to try this site so here it goes. Im in my last semester of my bachelor degree. Im a single mom and son is #1 in my life. I work part time and volunteer and still find time to take my munchkin to swimming lessons. I don't get to spend as much time as I would like having fun but when I do I enjoy just about anything outside. I love hiking, fishing, quading, camping, hunting, snowshoeing, skidooing...this list could go on and on. I really just want someone fun and relaxed. My life has been so crazy the last couple years, I really just need some unchaotic fun. Im very honest, sometimes a little blunt. I really don't see the point of beating around the bush lol. I'm fiercely loyal, empathetic, smart, and a romantic, though my faith in romance is a little lacking of late. My family sucks, my friends are my real family. For those I love I would just about do anything. So I guess that's me in a nutshell... truck ride on some back road with a case of beer! Or perhaps a campfire...with beer of course!
