I am a very strong and motivated person. I can hold my own in an intellectually-stimulating conversation and I have high expectations for myself and can be competitive at times. I like to always do my best at whatever I do and I am always seeking new ways to challenge myself, both mentally and physically. I also have a bit of a goof-ball side to me and tend to make quick-wit remarks (in good fun). I also have a compassionate side and I really enjoy helping others. I strive to have a positive outlook on life and surround myself with positive, genuine people.In terms of my hobbies, I love anything fitness and health related. I would consider myself to be a bit of a gym-rat and I have recently got interested in kettlebell training. This does not mean that I am also looking for someone who is a gym rat, I am open to others having their own hobbies and interests.I also love reading/learning (yeah I am a bit of a geek), going to local events and comedy shows or watching a live sports game, baking, or sitting in a cafe and people watching. I would consider myself more of a home-body but I still like to get out and do things as well. I would say I am an extroverted-introvert lol. I can easily hold a conversation, but I am a person who needs their space. I am looking for someone who is laid-back and easy-going, genuine, confident and who is working towards their own goals and has their own hobbies and interests. I want someone who has similar values but can be my opposite. Being an honest person is really important to me and I am not interested in playing any mind games.     Where to start...I wish I could say that I am new to this and don't know what to expect, but the truth is this is about the 3rd time I've tried this, and I pretty much know what to expect, but I'm hoping to be surprised this time around!     Hello, I'm a pretty relaxed person who's equally happy spending a day outdoors enjoying the weather, or staying in with some video games or a scary movie. I am a painter and custom framer who has recently finished my degree at ACAD, and am currently working to save up a bit before applying for a second degree in education next year.I love animals and have several pets, so if you are an animal person that's a plus! I have a cat, a bird, 2 snakes, and 3 fish tanks. Most of my pets are rescue animals with the exception of a few of my fish and I put a lot of work into taking good care of them.I really like traveling although I've been focusing on school for the last 3 years. I have everything from *** dub-step-to silly pop music in my collection and think every genre has something good to offer.Other stuff-My biggest vice is coffee.I have some tattoos and piercings, but they are part of who I am :)Before college I was in the military for several yearsI've been a vegetarian for almost 10 yearsOver the last few years I have really gotten into aquarium keeping as a hobby. I have several fish tanks with lots of cool fish, and am always trying to learn more and attempt to keep new and challenging species.My second biggest vice is scary movies and games, especially zombie ones. coffee or a pub maybe.
