Well I have had a profile on this website before but I didn't find it very successful. It has been a few years so I thought it was worth trying again.I have been a pediatric nurse for about a two years now and love it! I have also completed a previous degree...BSc-Biological Sciences major and Psychology minor. Now that I have finished my degree, I am looking forward to exploring my interests again and being able to really start my life. As far as music goes, I mostly enjoy rock music but am tolerant of other genres...except country;) I like watching movies (chick flicks, action, thriller etc.) and in the summer I really enjoy walking in the river valley or around my neighborhood (although the river valley is something that requires a friend as I'm terrified of who might be lurking down there haha). I love Kelowna and the mountains and all the "outdoorsy" activities they have to offer and try to visit every year.I would describe myself as a caring, compassionate, kinda silly woman with a big heart. I love all animals especially horses and dogs. I have a career that I love and enjoy every day, and am always aspiring to learn more and be better at what I do. I am pretty passionate about my work, but not so passionate that I don't try to take off for a few months every year in pursuit of the most pristine beaches on the planet. I'm a watersport junkie-- scuba diving, surfing, SUPing, and hopefully soon kiteboarding! Wanna teach me?!Other than water sports, I enjoy a good long distance run, hike, or cycle, and am trying to get better at my newest hobby: mountain biking. And by better, I mean slightly less blood at the end of each ride. Yikes. I'll put this out there right now though, I'm not too much of a skiier....been there, tried that several times. I am willing to try and get better, but just be warned that there may be copious cursing, yelling, and/or death threats. Just kidding about the last one! But seriously, I love the sun. Snow, not so much.Other than sports, I enjoy a nice night in with a book, movie, a few TED talks and a glass of wine...or beer. I think a day is wasted if I did not open a book and break a sweat. Family and friends are extremely important to me, and I am lucky enough to have an amazing assortment of both. I am an independent girl with a love for life.....but it's more fun when you can share it with someone!You: are happy....or travel the world. You love the outdoors, and don't think it would be weird to go running on our second date. You can teach me things, and are willing to be taught.
