Well I have had a profile on this website before but I didn't find it very successful. It has been a few years so I thought it was worth trying again.I have been a pediatric nurse for about a two years now and love it! I have also completed a previous degree...BSc-Biological Sciences major and Psychology minor. Now that I have finished my degree, I am looking forward to exploring my interests again and being able to really start my life. As far as music goes, I mostly enjoy rock music but am tolerant of other genres...except country;) I like watching movies (chick flicks, action, thriller etc.) and in the summer I really enjoy walking in the river valley or around my neighborhood (although the river valley is something that requires a friend as I'm terrified of who might be lurking down there haha). I love Kelowna and the mountains and all the "outdoorsy" activities they have to offer and try to visit every year.I would describe myself as a caring, compassionate, kinda silly woman with a big heart. I love all animals especially horses and dogs. Came from a place where there wasn't much to do, so I'm looking forward to being in a big city! Recently finished nursing school - am looking forward to expanding my career. This is also one of the reasons why I moved to Calgary as there is a lot more opportunity for work and growth in the health care field.Friends and family are very important to me, so I always try to make as much time as I can to see them. With this move I'll be leaving a lot of family and friends behind so I'm hoping to use this time to focus on my career. I love all types of music. All depending on my mood my playlist ranges anywhere from top hits to any of the local bands around town. I'm not picky with different genres. Some of my favorite things to do are hopping in a car with no place to go, catching up with friends on the phone or going for a coffee, and taking my dog for long walks. Having a quiet night in is always nice too! With some free time I'm hoping to get back in to competitive rowing - Competed for 8 years before an injury that kept me from continuing. Hitting up the gym and going for runs is something I keep up with to stay healthy :) Or even just going for a long walk! Watching sports on TV is great too - but I would definitely prefer to play them. I'm looking for an honest guy to get to know, not rush in to things, and take it from there. I am quiet, and a bit of a home body but would love to find someone who would make my life more exciting. I work full time, and enjoy singing so am involved with a local choir.
