About Me

I am a professional gal and take my career (that I love!) seriously but not quite so much my own self. Not sure if I laugh with myself or at myself more? I'm outgoing, a people person for sure, smart (and a smarty pants, as my dad would say), funny, kind of saucy and sarcastic, but have a big heart and really really easy going under all that jazz. I'm up for any adventure though photography is my number one creative passion..then its a toss up between volleyball and jogging (I'm thin but athletic/toned ie. I've still got junk left in the right places), hiking, and drawing, and the welcoming feeling of settling into my cozy couch for a movie, and of course, Guinness. I have my you-know-what together and hope to find someone who does too, finds it important to work on growth and finds joy in a good day of hard work...someone that is also fun/funny and positive to be around and likes to tool around and let loose like me. Basically, I adore witty goofball guys...with ambition and smarts. Trustworthy is a "duh" :)..and I want to admire your decisions. Curious to find a cute date, future relationship (wanna "go steady"? Lol...apparently it is near-;serious" in any sense of the word?? Haha:), or some comfortable companionship, and/or also expand my circle of friendships here in Maui. I do miss having an important man in my life to care for and make laugh (and surprise, love surprises)...and vice versa. The good stuff...My life is rather busy so I don't plan to overwhelm anyone, and I'm not the constricting clingy type but I'm also not into being, or feeling like, one-of-twenty by yet another guy (sorry!) that is overprotective of his Maui "single-dom". Respect (and responsive communication) is important (and sexy!)."No pets" just means I don't have any right now. Pets help make the world go round...so does red wine and dark beer!Just a small FYI, profile pics of just your sculpted chest taken in the bathroom mirror that cut out your face kind of just creep me out. Though charm can overcome height, I cant help but be attracted to men that are a bit taller than me, and it's important to care about ones physical fitness/health (yeah, charm does not overcome this so well, gotta take care yourself!), and who doesn't like someone that's just darn cute (in my way of thinking someone is cute, which might not be the norm). Yeah...a job and car are basics, a full grill, and a prominent sense of humor and understanding. No heavy drugs, please. And, I hope you like kids because mine are seriously amazing. I get to kick it with them ***nights a week.If I judge a man other than by what I learn directly, it's from the level of respect they have of their friends, and if that's all good it goes a long way. Alrighty then. Have a great day and best wishes. Cheers! I can have fun in most any environment (preferably not your ex's backyard though). In regards to good old fashioned gentlemanly date etiquette...while I am able to take care of my own (and more) by means of doors and tabs and such...chivalry is NEVER not hot and goes a looooong way :)... so don't worry that I'll be all women's-equal-rights offended or anything by you being a gentleman in Maui. I am a lady and assume that's why you have asked me out for a fun time? Don't be shy :)

Hello all! A little about myself...I'm a domesticated person, who enjoys having a great time!! I'd like to find someone who has an awesome balance between work & play like myself. I have a typical work schedule...M-F, take care of my home life afterward, cook, clean, ya know...responsibilities! Occasionally meet a friend for drinks, but generally I keep partying for the weekend, if at all. On the weekend I like to watch NFL, primarily my Chiefs! I'm not big into bars, but certainly enjoy going out here & there!I'd like to get to know a guy who has the majority of their life together. I'm the least materialistic woman you'll meet, however it's important to me that I meet a man who has a steady/stable job, home, vehicle, takes care of his kiddos (if applicable), isn't a druggie or heavy drinker, & is more interested in having a great life with...drum rolllll.......ME!!! :) I give hugs ;)Please read my red flags....*please no criminals/druggies/heavy partiers*please no aethists*please no bar junkies*please no men seeking women for one nighters, friends w/benefits, unstable as far as where you live, or military here part time for work. I'm seeking men interested in forming something in the future if it happens. I'm open minded, but would prefer an easy going atmosphere, where we can chat & have some laughs :)

And on a more serious, but still funny, and very true note: *** I will totally google you: *** crisis led me to joining the military. Most of the people I hang out with now are in relationships, which leads to me feeling like the 3rd, 5th, 7th wheel. I'm really just testing this whole internet dating thing out. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for other than friends (male or female) to adventure with, but am open to the possibility of a friendship leading to dating (males only). I work hard during the week, so I try to maximize what I can get out of the weekends. Upcoming goals are to get scuba certified and to hike the entire Kalalau Trail (UPDATE: Trail completed 2 Sep). Perverts need not apply.) I like to read (I'm a book nerd). I've recently gotten into doing triathlons (i.e. I've done one sprint triathlon and was peer pressured into signing up for a full one soon. I am 77% confident in my ability to finish... 99% sure it will be dead last UPDATE: Tinman completed and performance was better than anticipated). I am not good at math. I love to travel and would really like someone with the ability to do so as well. I love hiking and try to go on a new hike every weekend. Deal Breakers: 1. There are any pictures of you taken in a mirror (especially in the bathroom... ESPECIALLY if there is a toilet in the background) 2. All of your pics are 'selfies' (I hate myself a little bit for having used that term seriously) 3. You don't know the difference between "you're/your" and "they're/their" (I'm in no way a grammar expert, but a gal needs standards) 4. Over-use of 'lol', emoticons, or the replacement of letters with numbers 5. Your profile announces you to be "drama-free" and/or that you "love to have fun" (both giant red flags, in my experience)If you message me, I prefer you make it something a little more personal than "Hi there". Small talk isn't exactly a strength of mine so I'd prefer that you at least make it obvious you've read this profile and perhaps mention what exactly prompted you to message. * Another lack in strength- writing about myself. I think this profile makes me sound a little intense. I have a dry sense of humor and it doesn't translate too well into selling myself (here). Other than an infrequent case of ****y resting face, I'm usually smiling and quick to laugh. I couldn't even tell you the last time I went on a "date". My relationships have all begun with friendships and my dates have been 'date nights' once the relationship was established. The thought of having to get dressed up, go to dinner, and ask/answer a bunch of interview-like questions before panicking about whether or not he will kiss me... or whether I even WANT him to kiss me... or what I will do if I do want him to kiss me and he doesn't (or worse- if he tries to kiss me and I DON'T want him to) is not my idea of a good time.My idea of a good time would be doing something active. Also, please put your cell phone away. There is not much more annoying to me than attempting to have a conversation with someone who is texting/face-booking/tweeting every minute.
