I've done this before and met a few really awesome guys, and some not so awesome, but I believe you should learn from everything life throws at you. I try to stay positive with those lessons learned. Lets keep it honest, shall we? I'm not looking for someone alot older than I am, or younger for that matter. I prefer white guys ( no offense) and educated guys. I'm not into games or drama or ex's. I'm beyond all that. That being said, I'm a single mom, not looking for a father for my child, she has one. I'm looking for someone to hang out with, laugh with and maybe date.. should it turn into something serious, then so be it. I am extremely independent and work very hard. I love music, movies, books, traveling, debates ( like DC or Marvel? how can you ask me that? I love Batman and Iron man!) and college football ( Geaux Tigers). I'd rather stay in and watch Sports center ( no, seriously) and just lay low. The bar scene isn't really for me anymore. I'm a huge traveler, I'm usually somewhere or planning on being somewhere. I don't have other interesting titles in other countries that I have visited but am working on it. I try to avoid winter there though! I work as a director of a social service program for people with severe mental illness. I love my job, it's very rewarding! I also have a dog rescue with a co-worker. Its nice to see a dog that was left out on the streets find a happy ending! I have two dogs of my own, Tank and Trillie, both rescues. Things I like to do in my spare time: watch sports (extra points if you know what The Haka is w/o Google), drink beer, work out, play with the dogs or my niece, or participate in whatever activity NOLA has going on! I'm also a member of Krewe du Vieux! At times I can be inappropriately funny but everyone laughs so it reinforces my bad behavior. I have a good sense of when I need to behave but if we are close or I feel comfortable I say whatever comes to mind. Something fun where we can interact but be active
