Looks are not everything, but they are important to an extent. I prefer a man who takes pride in his appearance, is put together, and takes care of himself. I love a guy who is serious when he needs to be, but who can also let loose and be a little silly at times. I would like to meet someone who will make time for me in his life, who understands how to put effort into a relationship, and who has his priorities in check. While I think it's important to maintain your own interests in a relationship, spending time together and attending family functions and events with friends is something that is important to me. I'd love to meet a guy who has a good head on his shoulders and is driven when it comes to his career, but who knows how to balance things out. I feel strongly if there is physical attraction on a first date it is a great motivator to get to know the great and amazing characteristics that make you, you. If you are not easy going and love to laugh and joke we are likely not going to be a good match. Also My first reaction to situations is not anger and I appreciate that in others. I was in corporate HR and have made the decision to return to university to complete my neuroscience degree and hopefully continue onto med school so independence and my own personal success is extremely important to me. .
