There is nothing straight-edge about me. I want to travel, experience, feel, live, play, laugh, parent, LOVE. Every second I spend sitting around because there's nothing to do is a second wasted. Life is too brilliant to let it pass me by. I'd like to find someone to share life - someone who can understand why the intense grit of a hip hop show fills me with love the same way the symphony fills me with wonder, why compassion and empathy are key qualities, why awareness of oneself and the world does matter, why my friends and family mean so much to me, why living inside the box will never work because, for me, a mundane existance is tragic.I feel as though I should include something about the guy I seek to avoid any confusion. In the past, I think I had low expectations of the men in my life. Now, I want to surround myself with kind people who exude love and goodness. I not only want someone who is interesting, creative, complex, cultured, charismatic, stylish, fun, funny, charming, literate, intense, passionate, caring, generous, aware (and so on), but also I want someone who will treat me well because that's how I deserve to be treated, and that's how I treat others. It's taken me a long time to get here, but I finally realize settling for less would be selling myself short. I am not high-maintenance, demanding or unreasonable, but I am a very kind, warm, giving, considerate person who will do anything for those I care about. I'm not even close to a push over; this is how I choose to live my life. I look forward to finding a partner to journey life together, and I have to believe that person will take me by surprise, at times take my breath away, and above all else, want me to feel good.It's difficult to cover so much ground in this forum. I still believe in an element of fate. I hope to build the kind of life with someone where we don't lose sight of what really matters, and find time to accomplish our goals and live our dreams together. The guy for me will be not too good nor too bad, intelligent and cultured, fun & playful, strong (in character), confident, & he'll know what he wants. Sweet, kind-hearted, compassionate and considerate are other qualities I hope to find.Bonus if you enjoy doing lots of different things and don't mind doing those things with someone new, like cozy dinners, have great taste, love getting out of town, you're a little romantic now and then, you're super independant, you've got great hair (ok, that one's not a deal-breaker, but you better at least love my great hair!), you dig short gals, you're ready for love but in no rush.
