About Me

Well I am currently going to school and in Jan. I start full-time for nursing. I had worked with the elderly for 2 years and now I am taking the time off to concentrate on my studies. I hope to meet a man that has the same goals in life... I have a daughter and would also like the man I meet to have a child/children because I am family orientated and they bring me joy. Plus I have someone to play with. With that being said I am a gamer chick, but have not had time to play lately because of school work. My friends say I have a witty personality and love to joke around and bringing smiles to peoples faces is the best gift I could give, besides my heart.I don't drink, do drugs or smoke. I am alergic to dogs and cats...even the hypo or hairless types. Don't ask me how but I am. I love to cook... I am crafty, and pretty good at handy work. I make lists and goals and stick to them 110%.I was married once but would love to have someone to come home to again. What I ask in return...please respect me and my daughter, be honest and open and you will get the same back.If you are looking for a fly by night lay sorry guys I am not your girl...I have been burned too many times we are adults and we should treat people with the respect they deserve.     I really enjoy fitness activities and would love to find someone to do them with. Im not competitive per se, and still have a long way to go on my fitness goals, but I do enjoy the thrill of a challenge! I've done Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, Rebel Race, and a bunch of local 5 and 10ks. Crossfit keeps me busy several days a week and I also work with local pitbull rescue organizations helping end the cruel sport of dogfighting and to find loving forever homes for abused/neglected/unwanted pitbull type dogs.I have an awesome career and am thankful everyday for being able to do what I do. I'm prior Navy (Go Navy, Beat Army!) and am proud to have served my country. In my 'spare' time I also really enjoy the art of craft beer. Anything IPA or pale ale is probably a go for me. Sarcasm is the absolute key to my heart and would love to find someone who can both make me laugh and who shares similar intrests!I have my personal life pretty much in order. I have a great career, own my own home, and have goals for the future. Meeting someone in a similar place in their life would be a plus.Oh...and one more 'minor' detail... I sleep with my dog.     First of all I would just like to say that I think I'm pretty awesome, and I'm sure you will think so too. ;o)so here is the rundown:I'm a fairly social person. I love to keep busy and hang out with friends as much as possible.I love spending lazy evenings on a patio just as much I love going out dancing at night with the girls. - don't get me wrong I love a good movie night on the couch as well.I've been known to belt out a song or two during karaoke night at a local pub, so we might end up doing that together sometime. I hope you like making a fool of yourself in front of a room full of strangers as much as I do... lolI prefer outdoor music festivals over traditional concerts any day. Even if it's pouring rain out.I really like meeting people and making new friends. I'm a friendly person. I can't help it. I'm that person in line behind you or in front of you who thinks it's fun to start up a convo about what you are purchasing at the grocery store. Sometimes when I'm at home alone I put on super cheesy music and have a sing-along/dance party for one. Wine may or may not be involved... if that freaks you out, then I probably shouldn't mention the other things I do when I think no one can see or hear me. ;o)now on a more serious note:I know my profile says that I don't want any children, but I am not opposed to dating someone who already has kids.
