About Me

I missed the city so much that I had to come back.I work for a management consulting firm downtown. I love my job, and I work hard during work hours but can leave my work at the office and rarely think about it on nights/weekends. I also love music and concerts, especially music festivals, street fests, ravinia, and intimate venues. I love going to the beach in the summer, playing beach volleyball, picnics by the lake, and movies in the park.’s many charms. If not doing something social, I'm probably running, taking a dance or art class, home playing my guitar and listening to music, or cooking a nice dinner and watching a movie. I love traveling and exploring new cities. It'd be nice to meet someone that shares some of my interests but also helps me to expand my horizons.I'm really good at making people feel comfortable in new/unfamiliar situations and making friends anywhere I go. Listening, making people laugh, cooking, being a good friend and girlfriend...I also have a lot of insight and am pretty rational about most things, so I'm good at helping people to see another perspective on things.I’m a free spirit and appreciate people that are honest and genuine. As far as dating goes I always thought I would meet the right person when the time was right. A deep connection is really important to me. Even among friends, I feel a stronger pull to certain people. I’m definitely not a surface person, and it’s important for me to find someone that I’m “on the same page with”.The page I’m on: I like to spend time with my friends, and I like to spend time alone, but would also really like to share some of that time with a “special someone”. Balance is a must for me. I like to go out and be social a fair amount, but definitely need my time at home on the couch relaxing…etc. I’m always down with sporting events, concerts, exploring new areas of the city, camping trips, road trips, etc. as long as we have fun!The page you should be on: I don’t have any set type at all.     As for hobbies, I love to be outside. Camping, hiking, playing sports and being on or near the water are some of my favorite things. I love trying new things and meeting new people and I have a good time doing that. I even got to cross sky diving off my to-do list and yes, I want to go again!     As for hobbies, I truly enjoy cooking, but i never follow recipies (i'm kinda freelance chef lol). Love playing pool, riding bicycle, motorcycle, fishing, 4wheeling, canooing.... I prefer outdoor activities over shopping... not your typical girl when it comes to shopping, lets say :) I love to travel and experience new things. My life moto is "collect esperiences, not money", although I understand the importance of being able to make that money to do things you want.
