I am at the point in my life where I can say "I did it", my children are gone, raising them on my own didn't give me the opportunity to venture out to find a relationship. Work is challenging but when I can unwind - I enjoy walking along the lake, good food, wine, camping, spending time with family and friends not necessarily in that order. I also enjoy a relaxed game of golf, but I'm not that good and don't keep score - that would be scary. LOL. I am also a very easy going person, open to trying new things within reason - I'll try anything once (legal activities lol) I enjoy spur of the moment road trips or hanging at home watching movies or reading a good book. I like to attend church on Sunday's, I haven't been for awhile, I believe in always trying to be a loving, caring and supportive friend to anyone I cross paths with. Always focusing on the positive in people. There is so much negative in this world and it's sad. My faith allows me to have compassion for the less fortunate people out there. I'm not perfect by any means, and honestly believe that you reap what you sew. I would rather send out goodness to people than harshness and bitterness. That stuff in poison and will destroy your spirit. I am looking for that special guy who's happy and content with himself. Likes to laugh, have fun everyday, and wants to share all of our great times to nurture into a Long-term Relationship.... How about - meet for coffee and if the weather is nice go for a long walk along the lake.

Just looking to meet an easygoing attractive guy, and hopefully make a connection with someone on the same wavelength as me. I know this sounds like such a cliche, but I am looking for that "someone special" For now though, I am interested in seeing what we might have in common, establish a friendship first, take things slow, and go from there. Some of my qualities that I look for in others are a great sense of humour, mine tends to be somewhat sarcastic, and is not always politically correct. I enjoy intelligent conversation, but on the flip side, I'm still a kid at heart and can be nutty at times and like to be able to banter back and forth. Someone who is responsible but yet doesn't take themselves or life too seriously, is honest and has good values. I have a job that I am happy in, and would hope that you do also.I can also be somewhat adventurous, I am usually up for trying anything new, but at times I can be just as happy curled up with good book. I'm happy most anywhere doing almost anything -; or in the country riding under open skies or ear-tagging at a branding (really!). I want to see it all and do it all, but have decided it'd be nice to have someone to share the memories, the moments, and the laughter with. Only relatively recently have I had time to focus on fun, so am open. I enjoy being outdoors - anything on/in water, horseback riding, golfing, skiing (been a while but have skis), and great walks in the woods or on the beach discovering the hidden gems. I've done lots of travelling and look forward to doing more. Some educational, some work, some spur of the moment (Botswana --left Friday night, back Sunday at supper time!), and many others. It's about seeing the world, going for it, and not being bound by 'should'!I love to cook and entertain for two or twenty (so someone who likes eating is good!!), and am an avid reader with a passion for learning.) or getting all dressed up for an event are also a great way to spend an evening.
