I’m young at heart, liberal minded, and look younger than my age. I stay active by doing yoga, taking long walks, snowshoeing and swimming. I go to art galleries, enjoy a variety of cultural events, and like many types of music (almost anything except country). I'm looking for that special someone who occasionally wants to go out for dinner and/or drinks, but also appreciates relaxing at home. I love to travel and have a long list of places I want to visit, including day trips and other countries, and would like to find someone to share these experiences with.I'm not interested in spending hours chatting on the computer. I prefer to meet face to face with someone I can look in the eye. I am honest, a loyal friend and value integrity above all else. I have a healthy lifestyle which includes red wine, chocolate and an occasional late night that might include dancing. I am interested in personal growth and evolution, I work on being positive even in the face of adversity, and I am perpetually grateful for the life I have. I am very independent, never having been married or had children, ***'ve lived a somewhat unconventional life. I've had a lot of tragedy in my life, but I believe that it has only made me stronger and helped me to appreciate the important things in life...relationships, family, friends and enjoying every minute that we have!I believe that if one door closes another will always be there waiting to be opened with the right key....PS – I am a huge believer that honesty comes first. So, my actual age is 51, however I was told by a couple people that you should not list your actual age… not sure why. I look more like 41 than ***so I’ve been told) and I am fitter and have a physique better than most women 31 … so there it is… my story and my confession. Even though I love to be out and active I think the first meeting should be in a quiet place where we can sit and talk face to face to see if there is that spark... so a cup of coffee or a glass of wine/beer somewhere quiet works for me. If the first date goes well, then we can get out there and start some adventures together...
