I love to travel and am happy in a 5 star hotel or hiking in with a backpack and camping in a tent.… but I would love to see more... and to have that special someone alongside me to enjoy the experiences would make it amazing!I love going out for a great dinner but I also treasure those, simple times at home cooking a meal together, BBQing with friends…drinking some red wine, watching a movie and relaxing. I love all types of food (and yes... chocolate is an important food group) and music and I LOVE to DANCE!!!! I am a huge optimist and have a strong spiritual side. I've had a lot of tragedy in my life, but I believe that it has only made me stronger and helped me to appreciate the important things in life...relationships, family, friends and enjoying every minute that we have!I believe that if one door closes another will always be there waiting to be opened with the right key....PS – I am a huge believer that honesty comes first. So, my actual age is 51, however I was told by a couple people that you should not list your actual age… not sure why. I look more like 41 than ***so I’ve been told) and I am fitter and have a physique better than most women 31 … so there it is… my story and my confession. Even though I love to be out and active I think the first meeting should be in a quiet place where we can sit and talk face to face to see if there is that spark... so a cup of coffee or a glass of wine/beer somewhere quiet works for me. If the first date goes well, then we can get out there and start some adventures together...

I must admit I still like all the classic 70's rock and country music. I also don't mind dancing to some of the current pop songs and country. I started listening to blues and jazz a few years ago and really like Madelaine Peroux.Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs and it seems most of the single men on here have one or both. I've been an empty nester for over 3 years and really enjoying my space, peace, and quiet. Actually surprised how many men in their 40's on this site who have young children. I like a first date to be simple, and somewhere relatively quiet, so we can talk and get to know each other. So coffee/tea/drinks would be my 1st choice. If there's chemistry perhaps go out for a nice dinner then maybe a couple games of pool.

I am a woman who loves an active lifestyle. I like to travel, camp, bike, fish, hike, boat, and many other things. If I haven't tried it yet I probably will. I like to try new things, adventures, food. I am a humorous extrovert who is not shy to speak in crowds or make a point. I like those quiet times at home, or on a beach, or a BBQ in the back yard. Then there's the night out to a movie, attend a friends get-together, road trips and camping. I love the great outdoors and alot that goes along with it. Then there is the humorous side of me that likes lots of jokes and laughter and positive vibes. .I am easy going, loyal, and honest and want the same from my partner. I like light rock, rock, jazzy/bluesy music with a bit of country rock and Spanish fiesta thrown in. When I have to spend time indoors my favorite new shows are the CSI's, NCIS's, Law & Order's, basically any sciency type of show with a "who dun it?" thrown in gets my attention every time. I won't even start into the older shows, (Qunicy, MASH, etc)!! Action-adventure and science fiction are at the top of my list as well. Whatever ...really...a place to meet and chat comfortforably for a while...then figure it out from there...
