About Me

I am very fit, fun, attractive (so I've been told), adventurous, outgoing, honest, optimistic, and looking to meet my best friend, partner, lover, travel companion and possible soul mate. Possible??? All things are possible if we are willing to take a risk. I am a huge outdoors gal and LOVE to spend my time outside being active. Keeping healthy and fit is a big part of my life and I would want a partner who feels the same. I don’t expect someone to do every activity I do however having some common interests, I believe, is very important in a relationship. My favorite activities would be skiing and snowboarding, running(especially on the mountain trails), mountain biking, golf, tennis, hiking, boating, waterskiing, surfing, hiking, fishing, and spending time with my great kids when they are around (young adults 19 and ***and so much more! So much to do... so little time. Let's make time! I love to travel and am happy in a 5 star hotel or hiking in with a backpack and camping in a tent.… but I would love to see more... and to have that special someone alongside me to enjoy the experiences would make it amazing!I love going out for a great dinner but I also treasure those, simple times at home cooking a meal together, BBQing with friends…drinking some red wine, watching a movie and relaxing. I love all types of food (and yes... chocolate is an important food group) and music and I LOVE to DANCE!!!! I am a huge optimist and have a strong spiritual side. I've had a lot of tragedy in my life, but I believe that it has only made me stronger and helped me to appreciate the important things in life...relationships, family, friends and enjoying every minute that we have!I believe that if one door closes another will always be there waiting to be opened with the right key....PS – I am a huge believer that honesty comes first. So, my actual age is 51, however I was told by a couple people that you should not list your actual age… not sure why. I look more like 41 than ***so I’ve been told) and I am fitter and have a physique better than most women 31 … so there it is… my story and my confession. Even though I love to be out and active I think the first meeting should be in a quiet place where we can sit and talk face to face to see if there is that spark... so a cup of coffee or a glass of wine/beer somewhere quiet works for me. If the first date goes well, then we can get out there and start some adventures together...

    I think its time for an update but don't feel the need to remove anything I have written but only say that I am only looking to date someone if I think there is a possibility of a long term relationship with. Having said that, it does take time to get to know someone but also, I think one knows rather quickly if the chemistry or compatibility is right.     I love the water....walks along the beach, kayaking. Love to gaze at the stars with that someone special.     looking for the real deal, i'm just a simple person, looking for a simple man. i would like to look for a longterm but you have to start with that 1. that 1 meeting, lol. just ask me anything you like i will answer you honestly..........UPDATE...i have to be honest and put i am having some problems with my knees right now. i can't climb mountains or do much of anything, i will be getting it checked out next week hoping and praying it's nothing serious. if so i just won't be able to do any sports, i will be a stay at home girl. i can do other things well. lol. anyway i had to add that until i know what's going on.
